The Botched Beetle Incident
For Cordelia Emsworth & Hadrian Nott The Sister Human form is of Indian heritage | unattached | rep 7ish currently an elephant beetle Cynthia stuck as an elephant beetle (pictured) after an incident in India involving Cordelia and her ex-husband Hadrian in late 1892. Cursed to the form of a large beetle, Cynthia can only speak to Cordelia (or the person she loves most, which can shift!) and is often found carried around on Delia's shoulder. She's understandably a little peeved about it and retains her more sassy personality from when she was human. Delia is actively trying to fix her, and is gathering information, support and financing to take a trek to do so. Would love for this to start happening IC over the course of the next year! As far as the public knows, Cynthia is "sickly at home", but anyone close to the Emsworths would know about the curse! |
