Why Should You Be Prefect:
Ever since I began at Hogwarts, I've strived to be a role model for my fellow students. I've always been kind to other students, did my homework (2), and always tried my best in class. I've never been one to shy away from extracurriculars—even when I'm not particularly confident in my skills (2). I've never paraded myself around as some academic genius, but I do commit to the study of the subjects in which I thrive (2 + 3).
My most fervent desire is to be a successful socialite like my mother, and every choice I've made has been to lead me to that success. I've participated in art class—and art club—since my first year, and have always high marks in my Etiquette lessons. I have even been attending Pendergast's summer classes for Hogwarts-aged girls!
My one academic pursuit that I hold near and dear to my heart is my Transfiguration studies. I've been interested in becoming an animgaus since my third year, and have been participating in Transfiguration Club in order to further my knowledge.
I've also been a prefect since my fifth year, which I believe gives me insight to what the duties of Head Girl entail! I have an amicable relationship with my fellow prefects and house-mates. I feel fully prepared to be a role model to all the younger students, including the incoming first year girls who would inevitably look up to me as as the image of a well-bred, well-prepared young woman. With everything I have worked towards and with everything I aim to be, would it not make sense for me to wear the Head Girl's badge as well?
