Past the mailbox and to the left - it wasn't impossible of directions so long as to the left still existed after these attacks. Will wasn't overly hopeful with how furious the dragons were, especially not when he was having to guide them around countless charred bodies and rubble. In a way, it was fortunate Diana was distracted with the pain, for at least she had a reason to ignore their surroundings. And Henry - Will glanced down at his son once more to ensure the boy was still covering his face. This was all too much for anyone to see, never mind a toddler.
They moved far slower than he would have liked. Diana was swaying on her feet, her injury likely far more intense than she had initially let on. Ideally, Will would have carried them both and ran (he had to still be strong enough to do so after months at sea) but with so many tripping hazards he knew it wasn't wise. Instead, all he could do was continuously murmur encouragements to her and hope they wouldn't encounter another one.
Eventually, they made it to the mailbox and the left was, mercifully, unscathed thus far. "There, down at the end - is that the library?" It had to be. Merlin, he prayed it would be.
