Victor supposed this was his cue to shift his attention back to the problem at hand, but honestly Bea's rant about his lack of sincerity had left him seething. After everything he had done for her, she was going to throw a snit about his not taking an extra twenty minutes trying to get her goddamn attention by fetching a servant to knock first?
