August 23rd, 1893 — Pettigrew Yard, South Bartonburg

It had taken Art a while to remember he had the flying carpet. Technically, as he understood it, the ban in Hogsmeade was against brooms. No one had died on a flying carpet, after all. It had taken him longer to find the flying carpet. When he found it, he decided to stage a protest, and he set the dusty carpet out in the yard while he found his own coat.

When he came out, there was a tiny redhead child on his carpet. Luckily, the carpet remained on the ground.

"Excuse me?" Art asked.
