The young witch felt her chest swell with warmth as Sisse agreed to her request. A moment later, a swish of her wand brought the last teacup to a frozen standstill. Two things accomplished in as little time! With this under her belt, Millie felt far more capable of finishing her studies tonight. At the very least, she knew she could handle freezing charms like a real witch!

"Thank you! I'll have to talk to my sister, or my cousins, one of them will have a dress close to my size." Millie turned to face Sisse, and couldn't hide the satisfaction on her face this time. She felt the tinge of pink in her cheeks, and carried it with her back to their desks. It didn't matter if someone else saw it now, the young witch felt emboldened enough by her own abilities tonight to mind.

As she sat with a swirl of her skirts and thoughts, Millie collected her papers again and tried to focus on the actual material. She found the grin returning to her face for the rest of the night, glancing up at Sisse when she guessed no one else could see. After tonight, it seemed assured that she would have a new dress ready in time for her cousin's wedding.

And, perhaps, a new friend to go along with it.
