Darrow's Memoirs Become Best Seller
Copies Fly Despite Ongoing Fog Troubles
The Untold Story of the Sycorax Expedition became available in bookstores on June 20th, and was already well on its way to success through a rash of pre-orders. Managers in London bookstores now report that they are sold out of the memoir after only two days of sales, though copies are still available in the Hogsmeade branch of Wizzhard's Books, which has been experiencing severely low traffic due to the ongoing fog.
Publisher Harold Flynn stated that printing for a second release was already underway and should be in stores soon.
The novel has already made something of a splash in society circles, with rumors of scandalous exotic practices detailed within its pages, though given the fact that the publisher warned delicate women and young children away from the book before it was even published, this is perhaps unsurprising.
The book's author, Captain J. Alfred Darrow, is currently underway in search of the lost (or perhaps mythical) isle of Avalon, the legendary burial place of King Arthur. The expedition is scheduled to return later this month.
