Though Enoch would never admit to it - house pride was still very much alive in the auror - there was something undeniably funny about watching a child being knocked off their feet by a blast of water. It was a simple enough spell but one he had used countless times in the course of his work and he nodded towards Mr Moony with appreciation.

"The first round goes to Mr Moony, who may also begin the next round."

Ned stood up straighter, looking momentarily pleased with himself, but he didn't allow the smile to linger long as he wasn't one to gloat. If they'd been at Hogwarts, he'd have offered to dry Leander off. Instead, he called out a kind, "Alright Hobday?"

Waiting until the boy righted himself and seemed okay, Ned chose his next spell. "Fumos!" he called out, tracing the wand motion carefully, hoping to cast the smokescreen spell and duck out of the way.

Enoch was deeply impressed by young Moony. Quite the class act to win in two rounds with two spells that countered an opponents move. Perhaps he had a future in the auror office like his papa?
