Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Did You Know?
Did you know? Jewelry of jet was the haute jewelry of the Victorian era. — Fallin
As you may have noticed, I’ve been away for longer than expected, but I am finally back home now. It would seem we have some catching up to do - Mrs. Kirke.
Do you still work in London? Or expect to find yourself in Irvingly anytime soon?
There you are! I was so worried! I can never tell if my owls get through, are you home? Is your mother feeling better?
Yes, Mrs. Kirke, of our adorable little Bartonburg flat. We even have a new kitten! As of right now, I do still work at the libray, but I plan to have the discussion with Mr. Ainsworth this week about my... situation. I can't hide it anymore, even with some charms. It's the waddle that gives me away, it's heinous.
Your "situation". My goodness, I still can't believe it! Though I'm sure if your 'waddle' is as bad as you say, it will have me convinced in an instant. I'm happy to report that my mother is much better though still has some recovery ahead of her.
I'd have you over but I won't have you waddling all the way to Irvingly to be subjected to the 2 years of dust that's built up. Name the place and time and I will be there! but please know if you don't pick sometime soon I may just make my way to Bartonburg to "bump into you"
