Yes, I understand you perfectly. It seems in such a situation the best thing for Forfang to do would be to stay out of the papers entirely, as it will provide less of a platform for Picardy with his rebuttals. It wasn't as though anything was accomplished by that birthday jab, at any rate.

Have I mentioned to you that I've begun collecting samples for physical research? No pressure at all to contribute if it's either unfeasible or uncomfortable, but I am willing to pay for small samples of werewolf fur and human hair for a chemical comparison. Fee schedule is enclosed if you are interested.

I'm interested to see Forfang's book, though - it'll probably be a little over my head, but interesting to read nonetheless. Certainly it will be different than Picardy's parade of maulings.

You can find your hair and fur samples attached, don't do anything too weird with them.
