QWC Match One: Britain vs. Hawaii
Kokoikikane reached the bludger and took a second to survey the pitch before deciding where to send it. Both of their chasers were farther away from the quaffle now than the English ones, which would make it difficult for Makoa to make a pass. Ko sent the bludger towards Bixby and hoped it would prove enough distraction for the Hawaiian chasers to get in and retrieve the Quaffle.

Though he wasn't near enough to stop the Hawaiian beater getting to the bludger first this time, Tybalt flew towards him to try and deflect the bludger hit and reroute it back at his opponent before it could make it down to the chasers at the other hoops.

Cash was literally just vibing.

MJ made this!
Oh, hell yeah! Arthur flew a little closer to the hoops; maybe this would give them an opportunity to rack up the score?

Kaili flew hard for the center pitch

c4-c3

Knowing the quaffle would be intercepted by the British, Makoa threw it as hard as he could down field towards Kailani.

"Makoa snags the quaffle after it goes through the hoop and is looking for someone to pass to- too bad his remaining chasers are down the pitch!

Bixby moves in despite the bludger aimed his way- Kirke tries to get in the way, but gets hit instead and drops his bat, he'll have to recover that quickly!

The chasers need to regroup and get this match back on track!

The next chaser to post determines who has the quaffle!

Yikes, Kirke was having a rough game of it. Poor chap.

Beckett moved in on the two nearby bludgers and whacked it at the tiny lady chaser.

Esteban watched the action from his spot, hoping one of their own chasers would get that quaffle.

Better me than Bixby, Tyb told himself, as the bludger in his path caught him hard in the shoulder and he lost his bat. Shit. Breathing heavily through the pain, and trying not to think about the damage that had done (hopefully it hadn't gotten dislocated, or he didn't know how he was going to make it through the rest of the match), Tyb focused on his falling bat and dived after it in haste.
D4 -> C4

Arthur flew forward and retrieved the Quaffle, peripherally aware of Kirke's troubles.

[C3 -> C2]

Ko was about as far away from the bludgers as possible, so it seemed a sounder choice to try and defend one of their remaining chasers. He flew towards the center of the pitch. As he passed the English bearer who kept getting in his way, he called out pleasantly, "Sorry 'bout your bat!"

Kaili marked pettigrew keeping close to the english player with the ball

Art darted forward and threw the Quaffle at the hoops, hoping to score before any of those largeish Hawaiian beaters could reach a bludger.
