Even if it were long ago, I would have thought you mindful enough to inform her of how imperative it was to remain silent once I sent you that letter. You may be brash, but stupidity has never been something I've believed you to possess!

I cannot offer you seaside cottages with gardens and libraries if I'm without work, February — and my boss has made it clear that scandals are a non-option under his administration.

If the kitchen night was the last set of details you revealed to her, I would be curious to know why she's under the impression you're much happier nowadays!

I care for you so very deeply, lover, but I had a lifetime's worth of disloyalty by the time I was three years of age. I need no more of that.
