I'll do this when I burn out on Winter Labyrinth for the day, but in case anyone wants to compare to what they said they were going to do last year here's that thread! I was actually pretty successful with my general Charming and general life goals, but missed all the character specific ones except for Jules.

General RP Goals:
- Post specific thread/plot hook ideas in my networking periodically instead of general 'Character needs things!' plugs (not knocking people who do that but I was amazed at how many interesting things I got when I changed my approach recently to begging for new threads so my resolution is to keep it up)

- have a ship with a new player (or someone I don't currently have any active ships with, anyway - not closing the door to someone like Bree or Kayte that I've had ships with in the past <3)

- at least one Open-to-Everyone plot, a la the kidnapped/transfigured people plot in February or the Santa Antonina shipwreck. Bonus points for surprising everyone, haha.

- contribute to Witch Weekly and/or the Daily Prophet more - or some kind of Charming worldbuilding thing that doesn't center my characters

- every character has at least one interesting relationship dynamic that is not romantic.

Going to skip character-specific goals since I failed at them last year (while still having a very good RP year imo)

My 2022 Goals were and I succeeded in at least getting Tycho to 200 posts. <3 :

RP wise

- Have at least two or more new romantic ships because I need more in my rp life. xD
- Get Clarissa married. Preferably in a marriage that will continue to be dramatic even afterwards.
- Get at least one character to 200 posts.
- have a gay ship that move in together for that historic "omg they were roommates" scenario

RL wise

- drink more water
- continue to help my partner with their blossoming writing career. <3
- improve my graphic making

2023 RP Goals

- Get Clarissa married off.
- Get another character to 200 posts.
- Have at least two or more romantic ships.
- Marry off at least one of my bachelors (not counting already engaged ones).
- Have a scandal happen with one of my characters.
- Rapid-fire more often, at least once a week.

I apparently didn't make goals last year oops so this year is gonna start off better than last year by default!
RL:

• Graduate. Or at least get all my credits but the internship.
  
• Work on task orientation and finishing started tasks.
  
• Introduce and maintain a workout schedule that allows me to progress in riding.
  

RP:

• Reaching ten posts a month per character.
  
• Reach courting with Beatrice and possibly Tavie.
  
• Create plots for at least five characters of my own making.
  
• Focus on building non-romantic plots for characters
  
• Create a centeral networking thread.

Going easy on myself because I just came back, but here's a few I've been thinking about the last couple of days!

2023 RP Goals:

-- Be more present on Charming.
-- Be more intentional with the characters I create (i.e. what purpose do they serve? what's the motivation behind making them?).
-- Reach 75 posts with Viola.

RP Goals (Starting Small and Nondaunting]because this has been a BAD year for me)
- Post each character at least once a week.
- Complete a thread at least once a month.
- Get involved in a multithread, multicharacter plot.
- Work towards character development.
- Work at getting over posting anxiety and be more confident at writing.
- Successfully plot my characters into some fun plots that I don't accidentally kill.

RL Goals
- I'd like to feel more in control of my surroundings, being present and focusing on whats going on and not drifting from disaster to disaster in an hyper fatigued blur
- I started a Bujo with a ton of trackers so hopefully continue with that!
- I'm aiming to read more (did the 52 books goal) - not just listen to audio books because I think seeing actual words on paper may improve my writing.
- I'd like to go to the library once a month or... so and actually get exposed to books (see above)
- I'd like to do, or complete one craft project a month
- I'd like to cook one new recipe a month. (I probably do this but I'm going to do it intentionally.)
- I'd like to catch up more with friends and family and go to more social places because I need more grounding and I get overwhelmed by the inside of my own head since I don't get out much.
- ........ I'd like to keep more on top of the housework because it builds up and then I have to spend an entire day cleaning and not doing what I want to do aka charming.
- I'd like to also keep more on top of my health (the adhd, stop avoiding doctors, looking after allergies, asthma and sinus), drinking water, sleeping and exercise, and hopefully settle my mental space
- ...... and I'd actually like to succeed at getting my licence because not being able to driving is doing my head in.
