Jackbox Game Night!

Hello everyone and happy Charming 10th Birthday Week Bash! :D I'm here to introduce another game night for everyone called Jackbox Game Nights! (as in trivia, they're not actually nights, but just during the day >.>)

If anyone hasn't heard of Jackbox Games, they're basically a virtual board game that you can play remotely with your friends! this will happen this SUNDAY, JUNE 14TH – time options are below and above that you can vote on!

Q&A

Will I need to have my video and audio on?
– Video is certainly not necessary, and I'm fairly certain Zoom asks you upon every setup if you want to use your computer camera, so you have the chance to deny it access to both and still join. For this you don't need to have video or audio on!

Do I have to play to participate?
– You can 100% be a spectator (you can even log into the game) if you don't want to play! But it will not count for Camp Charming

For this to happen, we need a minimum of THREE players and can have a maximum of EIGHT - if it so happens that more than 8 people want to play, we will do rotations so everyone who wants to play can get a point to go towards Camp Charming.

THE GAMES

Both of these games sort of function like CAH wherein we have prompts that we fill in with our own answers. Simple enough!

Quiplash, via Jackbox Games Quiplash is the gut-busting battle of wits and wittiness! Just use your phone or tablet (no controllers needed) to answer simple prompts like these:

• Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do
  
• A double rainbow doesn’t have gold at the end of it. Instead, it has ______.
  
• A better name for France
  

There are no rules or correct answers. You just say whatever you want! Your answer will be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head battle. Other players – and even an audience of up to 10,000 people – then vote on their favorite answer. It’s that simple.

Fibbage, via Jackbox Games
Fibbage is the lying, bluffing, fib-till-you-win trivia party game from the makers of YOU DON’T KNOW JACK! Fool your friends with your lies, avoid theirs, and find the (usually outrageous) truth. And get this: your phone or tablet is your controller!

“The mayor of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky is a ______.”

Baby? Rabbit? Ham sandwich? It’s up to you! Just make sure it’s somewhat plausible in order to rack up points. When everyone’s submissions are presented anonymously, it’s up to you to see if you can spot which absurd answer is actually the truth.

Players can also play for the coveted “Thumbs Cup,” which awards bonus points to the answers that are especially clever. That’s right. You can finally impress your family with a pointless trophy!

4. YOUR BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL SELF <3: Reminder that you do NOT have to have your camera or your audio on to participate. I took screenshots of what it looks on my end to enter a chatroom, and how join without video in this imgur post! As it says in there, if you have your audio OFF you will still be able to hear the game! If anyone wants to practice that with me before tomorrow / before we start, just message me, I'll be happy to help you figure it out beforehand! <3
