Are you still mad at me? I know we haven't really had a chance to talk since I've been busy with Quidditch, my other friends and school stuff and I'm sorry about that. But what happened by the lake anyway? Why were you so mad about those girls, it wasn't like I was looking back at them. I didn't even notice them.

How is it sharing if I did not even notice them? I don't tend to notice many other people when I am with you anyway so why get angry at me? Would you like for me to wear a mask from this point on? If you tried befriending my other friends, do you think you would care about 'sharing' me less?

That is all very cleverly reasoned, but I'm not interested in a debate, or a "mask", or in other friends. If you really think I could become one of a nice normal group of gentlemen then you don't know me at all.

Honestly Narcissus, you seem to think it's important to let me know you have so many other friends than me -- so go and be with them. I have Potions revision to do.

That is not what I am trying to say, do not put words in my mouth. And I don't want to be with them, I want to be with you. You're.. a lot more to me than them. You're.. more. I do not know how to say what is in my head when it comes to you. You would probably think me truly strange for once and I do not know if I could stand it to have you look at me with true disgust. I am simply trying to understand what I can do to appease you when it comes to things like the girls who look at me when I am walking with you.
