Hello! My new character, Morrigan, (who likely shan't exist until January), could use some connections. She is the hanged man here, and suffers from a familial blood curse where all girls die of a wasting sickness that strikes them at apparently random ages — Mor's aunt Matilda made it to 39, but her sisters died before they could go to Ilvermorny/Hogwarts!
Jilted: Morrigan left someone either at or near the altar, because she really loved him and wanted him to be happy, around ~1884-1890 (1884-1885 is best, tbh!) MCAB, probably b. 1860? Also, Mor claims she did it because she wanted him to be happy, but has a habit of drifting into his life to try to talk to himand sleep with him without warning when she is feeling particularly maudlin.
Stepmother Connection: YOUR aunt/cousin could be Mor's stepmother! She would have married Mor's dad in 1870-76. (Morrigan was born in Chicago but went to Hogwarts); should be upper middle class, any blood status, lacking daughters. Not racist because Mor's family is not white. Last name would be Selden.
Husband? TBD: I haven't decided if I want Morrigan to be married or not. MCAB, any age, not a ton of love between them, they have no children. Live in North Bartonburg. A played husband - or a dead person with played family and Morrigan can be a widow - is more appealing to me than an unplayed husband/no played husbando connections are.
