Hey friends. Lost a post due to the delayed page load/reload on mobile and I'm looking for tips on how to isolate and fix it.

Ursula Black said make sure all the avs on your account switcher load, I've ditched all the Nickpic links and further ditched all the randimg links. My avs are a mix of imgur links (static not randomizer) & lensdump gif links (randomizer) - is anyone having particular issues with either of these?

Do signature links factor in on a post reply page? Idk, but I feel like that's not it because the page load issue WAS solved for me and is now back with a vengeance and no signatures have broken that I've noticed.

Noticed this issue most recently on Ben's account and he's on an older skin (This is Halloween from last autumn) - are there any broken images there? I experienced it in a reply and again starting this thread so I don't think it's anything my thread partner had in the thread.

The banner and background on that skin are both hosted on our server and nothing to do with Nickpic or any other third party. I'm not sure what to tell you on this one for rn...

Nope! The post reply page cuts them out so these shouldn't be an issue.

I've just had this happen to me and it was Charles, Spryly, and Tig's fault and they all have randimg avatars. I saw my reply box refresh the text and then I refreshed and it loaded fine, I hit preview post this time and it lagged so I opened my switcher while it was still loading the page and Charles and Spryly didn't have avatars loaded in, Tig's avatar in the post preview I then noticed was also missing. I know you said you're not using Randimg but if this is still happening, try to check the favicon before starting your post to see if it's still loading and if it is, check your switcher, scroll through the cbox (if it's loaded into the page), just see if you can spot any missing images before the page finishes loading. It might finish loading the problematic image(s) or it might give up and leave a broken image/no image.

I think possibly one of the confusing factors here may be cache. If your browser has cached a slow loading image then you'll get some quick page loads until it tries to recache that image and then it'll lag again.
