Dueling Tournament
It had been an excuse, really, an escape hatch to get out of luncheon with a particularly banal friend of his wife's. Sorry my dear, professional obligations you know. Do give them my best. The husband was little better—evidently, Robin had been good friends with Mr. Porter for years while under his father's influence. Now, however, once again his own man, the wizard could see no reason why anyone would willingly spend time with the fool.
So he had manufactured an escape hatch.
That it was two women before him did rather rankle his traditional sensibilities, but Robin was a master of not revealing his feelings. Besides, if the rules allowed it, who was he to judge? And one of them was the Minister of Magic's own mother! Robin reviewed the rules of the tournament, though did not expect two women of any age to need to be reminded not to maim one another.
(Then again, Sera was something of a loose canon. Perhaps he ought to be more wary of the fairer sex...)
"When you are ready, Miss Boaccord," Robin offered to the younger of the two witches, "You are to begin."
Hermia Bonaccord casting first. Please tag Lowri Dempsey in your post. You have 48 hours, or forfeit!
