Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Did You Know?
Did you know? Jewelry of jet was the haute jewelry of the Victorian era. — Fallin
She was feeling very good about how this conversation had gone. "We will!" Enid said brightly; comparing notes, that meant he wanted a future conversation, too! "And I hope you're able to sightsee at least a little." She would have to ask him about it; the Glen was small enough that Enid was sure she would hear when he was out of town as well as whenever he returned without any extra effort on her part.
She followed him closely through the manor, and found herself a little disappointed when they reached the sitting room with the fireplace. "Thank you so much again," Enid said, with a warm smile. He'd saved her having to rush in London — or even having to be late!
"It was my pleasure, Nigel smiled easily enough, but he too was a little disappointed the conversation had come to a natural close. "I hope it's sorted by the time you return," Who knew what the kerfuffle actually was, but it shouldn't take long to restore the Floo, hopefully. Most people used it to get out of the glen to get to work, himself included, even if he could use this one.
He reached up to find the small container of Floo powder on the mantle and offered it to her. "I'll let you know how Hungary goes and if it's worth another trip l." He assured her with a more lopsided grin.
"Me too," Enid said with a playful smile. They had twelve hours to fix things — so she was going to be very upset if she couldn't make it home.
She took a pinch of floo powder from the tin. "I look forward to it," Enid said. "See you soon!" She could not help the enthusiasm in her voice, and hoped he did not think that it was too much. She stepped into the fireplace and headed off to St. Mungo's, head swimming with everything about Nigel Yarwood.
