Hello, I write to you about this summer. My name is Calla Potts and I'm a fifth-year at Hogwarts this year. I've been strongly thinking about going into magizoology as a career - specifically healing and potions. I was told that the Irvingly Zoo offered internships for N.E.W.T. students as well as those going into their N.E.W.T. and would like to inquire about the application and what you might need of me?

Thank you for your recent inquiry as to our summer internship program! From you I will need, your guardian's written permission, your OWL scores once they are available, the recommendation from your Creatures Professor and a time for which we could set up a meeting to sort out a schedule for the internship.

I myself will be unable to conduct a mentorship this summer as I am heavily with child and due around July, but my husband and my other co-workers will be able to help you! If you have a specific interest in creature healing, we can accommodate that as well.

Mrs. Miller,

Thank you for your reply. I've attached a letter from my father, Basil Potts, with his permission, though if needed I can also have him send it directly to you or stop by in person to confirm. I have my O.W.L. examinations for C.O.M.C. this afternoon and will speak to my professor in regards to their letter in class as well as having my grades forwarded once released at the end of July. I return home on the 31st and could come by the zoo anytime that works for you all that week.

While I am interested in creature healing, I would be very happy to help wherever I might be the most helpful even if it is elsewhere!

It seems everything is in order. I have also received word from a Miss Sloane Bixby, a friend of yours I am informed, who also wishes to intern this summer. I shall do my best to set it up so that the two of you will be working together.

We can discuss further once you are out of school and can figure out a good schedule for you and Miss Bixby. I hope your OWL examinations went well and you enjoy the first bit of your summer freedom. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
