As I write, I imagine you must be preparing for the Halloween feast—always a delightful occasion, if memory serves! Forgive and indulge your father's missing you; I remember, of course, the excitement and responsibility of fifth year, and so understand it might have escaped your notice that I had not heard from you in some time. Perhaps you will join an old man for luncheon on your next Hogsmeade week-end?
