Appearance: Tall and gangly at four feet, nine inches, Apollo is currently all limbs. He has blue eyes and reddish-brown hair. He dresses as suited to his class but it is common to see him looking a bit scruffed up due to whatever mischief he got into while going about his day. He favors darker colors because light colors get dirty too easily and is right handed.

History:

• 1878 — Apollo Hermies Cartwright is born. His name is one that he would come to resent due to the fact that a) he was named after Gods and gets teased for it and b) his parents didn't even spell Hermes right.

• 1882 — Apollo shows his first signs of magic by making a painting flash different colors.

• 1883 — His mothers sister, Polymnia, dies (and her husband but his mother doesn't care much about that) and there's a lot of drama surrounding her death but people stop talking about the interesting bits when they notice Apollo's presence. Rude. Maybe he likes to gossip too, they ever think of that?

• 1884 — A quiet and contemplative boy that doesn't like to be teased about being named for Gods he could never live up to, Apollo begins to insist on going by Paul. His parents don't follow his wishes which sets him down the path of acting out. This same year, the plague happens and his mother gets sick but ultimately pulls through.

• 1885 — Apollo's father discovers his sketchbook and is livid about it, thinking it a horrid hobby for a young boy to have. This makes Apollo's acting out worse and he is soon getting into fights with other boys and being a little snot to his parents. Before Apollo knows it, he is being sent to live in a children's home despite his parents both being very much alive because he won't 'act right'. Apollo is pissed and decides that if they want him to be so very bad, then he'll be bad.

• 1887 — Might have accidentally burnt down the shed of the home neighboring the Children's Home. Luckily for Apollo, the owner of it assumes he forgot to adequately dash out his cigar so it remains his dirty little secret.

• 1888 — Currently, Apollo is beginning to look forward to 1889 when he will get his Hogwarts letter.
