Mum,

I floo'd over this morning but was informed by the butler that you'd be out for the rest of the morning. I just wanted to let you know that I've transferred out of the Improper Use of Magic office and into the Apparition Test Centre. Mr. Darrow was a good boss even if he breathed down my neck a little too much for my liking but I feel as though I must separate myself from Faustus now that he holds such a high position in our department. I need to make a name for myself, too.

I begin working there Monday morning.
