The Snitch, having eluded capture again, continued to be the focus of Shulas efforts. She tried, again, to capture it.

Had she not known Cam well, she might have thought him serious, instead she just grinned and waved him off with her free hand as she twisted and shot across the pitch.

Cameron stayed on Calla's tail as she traveled down the pitch, and finally attempted to knock his broomstick into hers, making snide yet playful comments in-between jabs. "Drop it, Potts!" he yelled, ramming into her one last time.

That was humiliating! Not only had she missed, but Miss Potts intercepted Gillenwater's delightful shot. When she was done congratulating the girl on her masterful play, she was going to kill her. In that order. At least she wasn't dealing with a broken nose, poor Gillenwater.

Almost regretting what she was about to do, both as she hated relying on the brute force of her lanky frame and knowing her blunger-injured arm was going to scream after contact, Hermia shot after Potts and Gillenwater, flanking the girl on the opposite side. "Sorry, Potts. Drop that quaffle!"

Ashiq flew after the nearest bludger and hit it towards the boy trying to make Miss Potts drop the quaffle.

Maybe if she hadn't played quidditch for the past three years, the sight of the two oncoming chasers only left her slightly miffed and she waited till what she hoped to be the second before allowing her broom to free fall just enough to get clear of the two chasers before shooting off again.

"Come on, Calla, it's not proper to disobey your captain!" he taunted, flashing a teasing grin in Miss Bonaccord's direction.

Cameron hissed in pain as the bludger struck him hard enough to—quite literally—knock the air out of him. He tried to lurch forward and continue after Calla, but he faltered and fell into a fit of coughs. The announcers words rang in his ears, and with a sad glance in Miss Bonaccord's direction he was forced to land.

Before he walked onto the field, he looked up at the skies. As long as Bonaccord (and their other, very useless chaser) could prevent Calla from scoring before their seeker caught the snitch, they could still win.

She could feel her stomach drop as she watched the buldger rammed into Cameron, forcing him to land. Even if he was on the opposing team, even if it was the middle of the game, Cameron had been one of her best friends for the past three years. Hearing - and seeing - such damage done to him didn't sit well. Still there was a game in play and she pushed forwards, her heart only half into it now when she'd far rather land and check on her friend.

Ashiq winced as the bludger did serious damage. He was purposely not playing at his usual level since they were playing with kids so it probably would have been much worse. Even so, he felt bad for the kid. But a game was still in play so he went after one of the bludgers.

Shula went for attempt four hundred and sixty eight and darted for the snitch again.

Hermia felt the reverberations of the hit right through Gillenwater and Potts as the bludger absolutely pulverized her Gryffindor brother in arms. Hermia felt a rush of bile and the sudden urge to lose her prematch snack off the side of her broom. Catching Gillenwater's eye, making sure he was getting to the ground on his own, she couldn't help but go Captain-Prefect for Miss Potts, teams be damned.

"He's still got control of his broom. We'll see him on the ground. Show me what you've got, Potts!" All but hugging her broom as she leaned into the chase, Hermia tore after Miss Potts, her thoughts following Gillenwater to the ground.
