Well good monkey mother had got her dau-- Oo there was an inch, right there near her tale, scratch scratch scratch. Ok oo, yes, right, daughter, Alina, "Oo oo ah ee oo..." Well that didn't quite come out as she had intended it. She tugged at the girls dress skirts then ran back to her own dress, chemise, well the works and tried to gather them in her tiny monkey arms. This of course was rather futile, but she was hoping her smart wee bit saw something in her actions?

  

The strange monkey went from tugging at her skirt - which Alina had come close to batting at the thing because of this - to trying to pick up her mother's clothing. Annoying like her mother at any rate. That was when her eyes widened a little. Had... had she? Now she was caught at a cross roads. One between laughing and panic.

Her bitterness ended up having the laughter win. Could one blame her? Transfiguration was hard and she had done it on accident. Shows her mother who is able to take care of herself.

Laughter!? Laughter!? LAUGHTER!? It probably didn't help that this little monkey was raging out, yelling and screaming and jumping, waving her arms in the air with fist fulls of clothing. It was probably quite a scene indeed, but that was not what was going through Ronan's mind right now. No, Ronan was pissed she was a damn monkey, scared that she would always be a monkey, and worried that something would happen to her daughter while she was a monkey. Then there was the aspect of her loosing her clothes! She only had two sets, could only afford two sets, and she really didn't want to loose this one. WOULD SHE STOP LAUGHING! The monkey jumped about waving it's arms and stamping it's angry little feet, "OOO AHHHH AHHHH!" Her called echoed off the cobbles.

  

After a bit more laughing, Alina scoffed at her mother. "You just can't stand anything I do, can you? Unless you order it." She grumbled as she snatched the bigger clothes. "I am not carrying your underclothes. You can do that yourself." To be fair, what person wanted to carry their parent's underclothes around? Ever? That wasn't unreasonable.

Seeing as underclothes were an entire outfit in and of themselves, this seemed to be a bit of a struggle for the little monkey who tried to gather it all and drag it down the cobbles while walking on her hind legs. It was a very slow process and often Ronan had to drop down to fours because well monkeys didn't quite travel on their hind legs for long periods of time. Ronan, if she could speak, if she ever could speak again, would like to have reminded her daughter just how many times she wiper her arse, did her laundry, ungrateful brat.

"OO! OO!" She called out to the girl, wanting her to slow down, finally she just grabbed what she could with her mouth and jumped up on the girl's shoulder. Feck walking.

  

Being jumped on was not something Alina was OK with. Her mother had continuously gotten an underaged witch quite angry, and how did that usually go? At least her mother wasn't a bug. She stopped and dropped her mother's clothes. Crossing her arms. She waited. Perhaps her mother would get the hint.

Ronan's furry little head looked to her daughter as she stopped, obviously perplexed, and then watched her drop her clothes, in the dirty cobbled streets no less. There came a loud screeching directly in Alina's ear, that could no doubt be translated to, 'Pick my clothes up ye ungreatful little brat!' After all she was a monkey, and her under garments were not easy to carry, it would take them half the damn night.

  

That did it. "SHUT UP! This is your fault. If you had just shut up, we wouldn't be in this mess! Get off of me!" Almost. Alina had come so close to pushing her mother off herself, but she held back. While she was roaring mad, she wasn't intending on actually hurting the woman.

The monkey stared at her, the eyes so familiar, deep and stormy. There was genuine hurt reflecting in them, and though the girl may not have pushed her the verbal assault was well enough. Her daughter not only didn't appreciate her, but really just didn't want her around. Well, Useal got the memo. The monkey dropped her undergarments, and climbed down the girl. She then moved away, opposite of home, back down the road. Granted the rate was slow as she tried to pick her way through the muck and mud that littered the road.

  

Where was that compassion when her mother had hurt her? "Fine! You're a grown woman, do as you want. I'm taking the shorter way home." It didn't seem to register with her mother that she was hurting as well.

Alina didn't like showing hurt, so it came out as anger or sarcasm. One could see it when the boys teased her, or when a rather harsh lecture was given by the governess. Stubborn as she was, a tear did escape before she abandoned her mother's clothes and headed toward the nearest wizarding world enterance, intending to find a floo network.

Ronan didn't expect her daughter to come after her, she never expected anyone to come after her. People, she had come to learn, did exactly what Alina did, turned away and went about their business, and that was precisely what this monkey was going to do too. Go on with business, give the girl some space, give them both some space, and find some way to be useful, even if she was a monkey. Granted, she really loved that patch work dress, but she supposed she could make another one. She sighed, turning her mind to her objectives, and burying her emotions even further.
