Hello, 'tis I! Your friendly neighborhood Norwegian.

I'm a 21 year old biology student from Norway, things to know about me is that I'm a giant fantasy and sci-fi nerd. I spend most my time reading books, playing video games (Frostpunk has recently stolen my attention), and I've got a weekly date with Dungeons and Dragons on Mondays. I'm also pretty big science nerd, as witnessed by the fact I study biology, and I will at regular intervals shout about anything biology related, especially anything involving marine biology. (I'm just saying that the wolffish is clearly the most beautiful fish.)

In terms of characters and tropes I'm always a sucker for those good old rogues. As evidenced by the fact that the Gentlemen Bastard series and the Six of Crows duology are some of my favorite books, though the position of favorite fantasy series is held by Discworld, and my favorite rogue has to be Moist Von Lipwig. I also tend to roll along with any plots and I'm not afraid to have my characters get into lots of trouble that can end quite badly for them.

My name's Bree, and according to DNA tests I'm 1/1024th Norwegian. So there's that, I guess :P

I'm an assistant teacher at a daycare and hope to return to college one day to pursue a degree in education so I can become a high school government teacher or an elementary school teacher. I struggled with science in school and have  always been more of a fan of history and social studies, but biology was admittedly the easiest science subject for me to comprehend. Apart from writing, I'm an amateur genealogist!

I've got a bunch of characters, so I hope we can find a good match to post together with! ^^

I've just finished an Ancient History masters - despite this humanities bent, my unfinished mess of a novel draft I've been working on for this November's Nanowrimo has been randomly about merpeople, so you've come just in time to find me drowning in marine biology research, I may have to yell at you sometime about the oceans :P

I also know very little about Norway but I have the strangest soft spot for some Norwegian television, including Skam and I kveld med Ylvis  ?? ...So that's a thing. xD Looking forward to threading with you!

I'm a Bee, I'm one of the site's old ladies (almost 32) and the Board Mom. I'm also a Normal Mom, I have two kids (ages 2&4) and I currently work as a teacher's aid in a 5th grade classroom while I finish up my teaching re-certification. I live in snowy New England which I love ♥. I think I have some Nordic ancestry, but not 100% on that. As you saw in the cbox I am a fan of TMI, but also fantasy novels, trashy romance novels, historical romances and YA as well haha. Uhhh I haven't played any video games in a long while, but I used to enjoy some good old-fashioned Nintendo back in the day.

Hi Freya! I’m Kelly, am 20 years old, and am a complete nerd. I love reading, though I’m a procrastinator when it comes to finishing books, and I’m trying to get better at that. I am a college student who is currently on break. Fantasy is my favorite genre, and I also enjoy romance, action, and a bit of horror.

I’m more of a worried character mom, always nervous about my characters jumping into the fire (trying to get myself to loosen up a little, still working on it). Still, always love the drama. I’m constantly reading other people’s threads (obsessed with a certain ship right now, reading through that). I’m trying to get more connections of both current characters and any potential new ones. I’m excited to see what interestinc plots that we can chat about.
