Tycho had not been able to stomach the idea of seeing Ford wed. He had said as much when Ford had brought up the wedding date. He'd been invited, as would probably be expected considering the known aspects of their friendship. Even so, he found himself apparating to the wedding locale and he shifted into his animagus form. He couldn't go in there, he didn't trust that he would not end up saying or doing something that might be seen as questionable even with his known eccentricity - but there was a convenient tree that allowed him a view point of the bride and groom inside the church.

Ford looked handsome, she looked beautiful. There was something familiar about his suit but he couldn't tell what it was through a stained glass window. He couldn't even tell what colour it was. He glided to another tree when it seemed like they were now exiting the church - as Mr. and Mrs. Greengrass. Under the natural light of day he could see what was recognizable about the suit. It was his. The one he had gifted Ford.

Why. Had Ford not done enough to him? He had to sully the suit too? Logically, he knew it probably made sense. The suit had been white, easily alterable and Tycho had taken great care in its selection. But emotionally, he found this action of Fords to be almost unforgivable. Though he supposed it didn't matter now what he felt about anything. It wasn't like he had truly been asked his opinion nor had it been taken into account when it had been provided. It had been this is what I am doing and we will all have to live with it from Ford from the very start despite Tychos desperate plea when he had been informed.

He had seen all that there was for him to see here, he wasn't about to break his own heart even more by watching the reception. Besides, he was set to leave for Italy. So with one last look at the now-wed couple, Tycho flew off.
