I've been sitting on Greer for a while now and her app sort of just came together today, so I slapped it up.

The tl;dr of it is, Greer's father was falsely convicted of a crime and shipped off to Australia in the 1850s. He did his time, got married and decided to stay there and build a life afterward. Then he died, because why not go with a Disney complex. I'm looking to see if I can find a sister that he left behind in England (maybe moved to the Hogsmeade later?) and was willing to host Greer and Lorelei after their parents' deaths. Could be begrudgingly, could be genuinely wanting to connect, does not matter one iota!

Would be an MC woman born somewhere in the 1830s-40s, but outside of that it's entirely open! Would love for connections that have layers or cousins around her age, but not necessary!

Her sister, Lorelei, will be put up for adoption asap too!

Alternatively Xavier Davies family is open and Juliana Ainsworth's mom could have family ties but neither of those provides quite the immediate drama of Greengrasses lol.

Not sure I have anybody too useful, but Fiona Little's  family is fairly open her mom was born in 1834 and currently lives in London.

I mean it is so hard to turn down my love for the Greengrass family, it looks like she had a natal family, is everybody cool with the switch? Can they actually handle two more people in the house? XD

I'm here for this, obviously, as long as everyone is cool with it hahaha

No they absolutely cannot handle two more people in the house but Audra has never asked Ford for permission for anything and even if she did he would have a hard time actually putting his foot down xD

I legit need to check in with Kayte (Aldous Crouch) and Steph (Henry Berkwood) 'cause hosting The Cousins has kinda been Lottie's mom's thing and I would love to see it be their paternal cousins in contrast to their maternal cousins. Mostly would be winter and summer for the twins, but she would by extension have Lottie's aunt and Lottie will write letters. Cousins won't want for reading material.

I think Lottie's mom might be too young; Patrick was sent off in 1859 and was a couple of years out of Hogwarts by then. I definitely wanted it to be an aunt they went to, so it would still be maternal cousins anyway? I appreciate the offer though!

I return with a proposal: could Greer's dad be Audra's cousin (through Audra's mother, who has no existing backstory whatsoever?) That could still make the Greengrasses the closest British connection to take them in, and doesn't involve any retconning of Audra's background. And Victorian families were playing pretty fast and loose with the "cousin" label anyway so that still gets us to 'cousin Greer and cousin Lorelei.'

Olive also said she's open to retconning but this seemed like a pretty clean route so wanted to see what you thought! @"Daffodil Potts"

So just for abundant clarity: Edith Crouch nee [--] would be the sister of Patrick Owen's mother or father, Audra and Patrick would be cousins, Greer and Lorelei would be second-cousins to Ford and co.

I can jive with that! Would definitely work out if Patrick had no surviving siblings etc, which is totally fine with me!
