vices, anyone?

The above got posted on our Discord plottage channel and everything just kinda spiraled from there.

PREMISE: this is a found family dynamic so they are all not blood related. This opens it up for more variations in diversity. Class is Lower-Middle unless anyone objects!

QUESTIONS:

— Last name? Do they all have the same last name? If so, what are y'alls ideas?
— Residence: where do they live? separately? an idea I had is that if they're all of working age, they could all live in the same boarding house somewhere so they're all together but rent their own rooms?

I am making Avarice... whose vice is Avarice. She is a gold digger but will have an occupation - I am noodling on what. She is a young adult. Exact age I will figure out later.

Spinster aunt. She raised you all and YOU'RE WELCOME, ingrates. You give a child a weird name one time and they feel entitled to bitch about it the rest of their lives, I swear.

Anyway on the subject of last names I vote that if they were deposited as a baby they get "aunt's" last name but if they arrived when they were older they can keep their original name and just get saddled with a vice "nickname."

I'm going with Wroth/Wrath as a vice/deadly sin vibe. Using name Wrothina or Wrathina...haven't decided yet. Suggestions?

Auntie Clara Wakefield is somewhere between 50 & 70 and constantly trolling everyone. She attends Church every Sunday but outside of those two hours a week shows no indication of believing in anything, certainly not what the Church teaches. She has a fraught relationship with her family but is still in contact with them occasionally.

The first foundling was her brother's bastard and she got a bit of hush-money from him and his wife to make up a believable back-story for the kid, but she picked the Vice name because she was legitimately super bitter about this and mostly agreed due to pressure from her parents (of the well your life is already basically nothing, it would be selfish of you not to do this to protect your brother's reputation and career sort).

The second one she took in because she kinda liked having a kid around she knew it would antagonize her family but lol what are they gonna do about it.

The third was probably related to her in some way (either another bastard of a more distant relative or a friend of the family or something).

Fourth onward could have come from anywhere because at that point why wouldn't people just drop them off at her door? No material difference between six and seven foundlings... :P
