Lost At Sea
Full Casualty List from the Santa Antonina Shipwreck Made Public
Although the public was first made aware of the catastrophe that had befallen the cruise ship Santa Antonina on April 10th, the wreck actually occurred during the evening hours of the 8th. Rescue efforts have been underway since the 9th, coordinated by the Ministry of Magic and lead by infamous explorer Captain John Alfred Darrow, with some minor logistical assistance from the Portuguese Ministry due to the location of the shipwreck. After over a week of recovering survivors and bodies, the Prophet has received word that formal rescue efforts have been halted and those not yet recovered will be declared lost at sea.
Listed below are those whom we know at the time to have perished during or after the wreck, or whose bodies have yet to be recovered.
William Abbott, Sponsor of the Montrose Magpies & husband of Diana Abbott, lost at sea. He was 29 years old.
Daniel Abernathy, cook, of London, perished at sea. He was 21 years old.
Wilbur Avery, Lawyer for the Department of Law Enforcement, perished at sea. He was 61 years old.
Francis Candlewick, Junior Lawyer in the Ministry of Magic, lost at sea. He was 20 years old.
Cressida Collins, lost at sea. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Huxley Collins and his wife, Mrs. Perpetua Collins, and was 24 years old.
Marcus Lytton, Founder of the House of Lytton & fashion designer, lost at sea. He was 37 years old.
Rosalie Scrimgeour, wife of Mr. Hadrian Scrimgeour, perished at sea. She was 34 years old.
Wilton Scrimgeour, lost at sea. He was the child of Mr. Hadrian and Mrs. Rosalie Scrimgeour, and was 6 years old.
Tiffany Smith, wife of Mr. Eric Smith, lost at sea. She was 52 years old.
Cyril Wildsmith, head of the Wildsmith family, Owner of Floo Pow Company and magizoologist , perished at sea. He was 62 years old.
Wilfred Waterford, solicitor, of London, perished at sea. He was 59 years old. As well, his wife, Mrs. Eleanor Waterford. She was 50 years old.
