Nicknames: Tatty {OOC}
Birthdate: July 29th, 1866
Current Age: Twenty-One
Occupation: Devious Debutante
Reputation: 7
Her father was kind of a mass murderer.Residence: Cambridgeshire
Hogwarts House: Slytherin Alumna
Wand: Blackthorn, 13 inches, acromantula web, unyielding
Blood Status: Pureblood
Social Class: Upper
Family:
Igraine Lestrange née Selwyn, Mother [1837-1866]—Given her mother succumbed to the rigors of childbirth two days after her arrival, Tatiana has never had any relationship with her.
Tiberius Lestrange, Brother [1864]—One of two people on this earth that she will readily admit—and generally feels—love for. Tatty would love to see her brother one day conquer wizarding Britain as Minister of Magic in a rather authoritarian Ministry. This is at odds with her desire to one day puppet master such an individual herself. Even if she were attracted to her brother (how unnatural!), she knows she can’t actually marry him.
— Antigone Lestrange née Baudelaire, Sister-in-Law
— Cleopatra Seneca Lestrange, Niece [1886-1887]
— Imperatrix Tatiana Lestrange, Niece [1886]
Mariana Macnair née Lestrange, Aunt [1840]—Other than Tiberius, the most important person in Tatiana’s life. With one lacking a daughter and the other a mother, Tatty would say fate brought them together—if they believed in such things. While she doesn’t always agree with her aunt’s decisions, she would defend the woman with her own body if it came to it.
— Eustace Macnair, Uncle [1834-1887]
— Various cousins.
Not surprisingly, Tatiana is related to half the purebloods in Britain, but more specifically the Lestranges, Selwyns, and Pendergasts.
Appearance: Tatiana’s adult height is rather tall; the witch stands at five feet and five inches, easily culling smaller—and thus, more delicate—men from her pool of potential husbands. Black hair and eyes are a stark contrast to her pale complexion, which is often adorned with as much rouge as she can get away with without being called out on it. She favors jewel tones in muggle fashions, as she believes them to complement her womanly figure far better than the robes that she, as a good pureblood, should favor. Tatiana is left-handed.
History:
1866 | Tatiana is the second child born to Tybalt and Igraine Lestrange. Given that her mother dies shortly thereafter, she is also their last child.
1870 | In his first act of magic, her brother turns her purple from head to toe.
1872 | A mangy dog outside won’t leave her alone, so Tatty’s first act of magic sees her set it on fire. The six-year-old is horrified, but also kind of into it.
1875 | With much of her childhood an old boy’s club with Tatiana feeling very left out from the relationship shared between her father and brother, this year marked what she melodramatically termed her rebirth as her aunt’s ‘daughter’. Tybalt Lestrange, in a fit of—she can only assume—utter madness, kills thirteen people at the Ministry and is sent to Azkaban. She would have minded a great deal less if Tiberius had been able to come live with her at the Macnair house, but alas, he is taken in by Uncle Lucius and goes off to Hogwarts in the fall.
1877 | Brother and sister are reunited in Slytherin, and Tatiana’s cousin Rosalind joins her there as well.
1878 | The Macnairs—Tatty in tow—relocate to Wellingtonshire.
1879 | Fascinated by the idea of seeing the future, Tatiana adds Divination to her course roster and then promptly decides it’s hogwash, but is stuck with it. She’s much less ugh about Ancient Runes.
1881 | Tatiana is not named prefect. She begins quietly teaching herself occulmency.
1882 | Tatiana sits her OWLs and does about as well as she anticipated. During the summer, she’s betrothed to Fenris Goyle, but questionable actions on the part of his brother see it terminated before the year ends.
1884 | Her time at Hogwarts draws to a close, and she enrolls at the Pendergast School for Young Roses where, alongside her cousins, she wants for nothing. Valerian dies of the Laughing Plague.
1885 | Aunt Mariana, at her advanced age—clearly it runs in the family—delivers a daughter, of whom Tatiana is immediately jealous. She is privately very pleased indeed when the child drowns—which is good, since it was an imperius charm on her part that orchestrated it. Thebastardtwins die. By now, Tatiana can reasonably shield her thoughts, though she has little doubt that her brother or uncle could break through such a barrier with ease. She is hesitant to try to put this to the test and see her years of hard work invalidated. Tiberius marries Antigone Baudelaire.
This same year, her father escapes from prison. A part of Tatty hopes that he will come find her, if only so she can tell him off for his stupidity—but, alas, he is caught and subjected to the Dementor’s Kiss.
1886 | Tatiana leaves her aunt’s school for good, but her first season is a lacklustre one.
1887 | Tatiana’s grief at the passing of her uncle Eustace surprises her, though his funeral gives her an “in” with Herschel Dawlish, the Wizengamot’s Cheif Warlock. She is pleased when Minister Urquart is ousted, but less thrilled that his replacement is happily married and even more liberal. This year she also forms an acquaintance and rather deep friendship with Elladora Black.
1888 | Dawlish is murdered—not surprisingly, really—stealing Tatiana’s only evident potential gateway to power.

Personality:
Other:AMBITIOUS — RUTHLESS — PROUD — INTELLIGENT — TWO-FACED
When Tatiana Lestrange looks in the mirror, she sees what everyone else sees: a polite, well-bred young lady who is perhaps a bit more intellectual than a debutante ought to be, but given who raised her—a criminal and Mariana Macnair—it’s a wonder she turned out as pleasant and feminine as she is! She’s a reserved but sharp-witted conversationalist who seems very content as a follower in any social circle; an excellent sidekick, but it seems unlikely she would ever become the heroine of her own story.
Unless they got a glimpse inside her head.
Calm and calculating, Tatiana is not the sort to give into her emotions, but she is also not the sort to let something trivial like morality get in the way of achieving her goals—after all, if no one finds out, whatever she does doesn’t count, right? She is fiercely loyal to those she considers family—though unfortunately for some of her cousins, blood isn’t the only qualifier here—but has difficulty seeing anyone else as much more than pieces of varying importance to be moved around the chessboard to help her reach her ends.
— She is a self-taught occulmens though has failed abysmally at teaching herself legilimancy. She is too proud to ask anyone to teach her.
— Surprisingly, Tatty is only a soft purist.
— Like any good young lady, Tatiana can read, write, sketch, and play the pianoforte, but Merlin help you if you have to listen to her sing.
— Fluent in English, French, and German.
— Tatiana is a lesbian.
— Afraid of the dark; always sleeps with a lit candle at her bedside.
