Appearance:
An angelic-looking creature, Clem has soft features and blonde, wavy hair. Her eyes are gray and crinkle up at the corners when she smiles. Like her brother, Justice, Clementine is skipping most phases of adolescent awkwardness; she has clear skin, and has recently started to become slightly curvy.Clementine has shot up in the past year and now stands at 5'2", but is likely to grow a little taller. She dresses according to her class in soft, pastel colors and has a gentle, quiet presence.
History: 1873: Clementine is born, not even a year after her older brother, Justice. This ensures that the two will share the same school year, although they're never particularly close due to their fairly different natures as well as their sexes.
1877: In 1877 Faye is born, a final sister, and Clem's first solid memories are of trying to amuse the baby while also ignoring the threat of the muggles. It's at some point in these coming years that Clementine begins to mimic her mother's behavior, generally - Mama is her hero, of a similar nature, and with Justice off learning to ride a broomstick Clem is happy to help her mother in whatever way she can. This joins itself with a slight fear of her ever-distant father.
1883: Clem, Justice, and Faye arrive home from an outing to aurors in the house. Mama and Father are dead, and Clementine misses them terribly (mostly her mother.) Announced as an accidental death, there are nonetheless serious rumors that Polly Rookwood killed her husband then herself, and Clementine is left frequently bursting into tears when she hears the accusations against her mother.
The Rookwood children move to Uncle Eldridge's home; Clementine finds herself ill-at-ease there, especially once they discover her uncle's reptile room, and avoids the home when possible.
1884: Clementine and Justice both go to Hogwarts; they're often assumed twins, but Clem is quick to explain their different birthdays to anyone who asks. She's sorted into Hufflepuff (her brother to Ravenclaw) and quickly makes friends, but finds studying and classes to be difficult for her. She finds herself in awe of students who excel without struggling. She also stays at school over Christmas and Easter breaks every year, hoping to avoid her uncle's odd house.
1886: At the end of Clem's second year, she picks up Divination and Muggle Studies as her electives, hoping that they won't be too difficult. Without the trouble of practical magic, Muggle Studies actually becomes her favorite class.
1887: Clem returns for her fourth year having started to Become a Woman TM and finds herself facing unsolicited male attention, from a handful of admirers but also from her brother, who won't leave her alone. She's a little annoyed. She also realizes, that while she's had crushes on male students, her feelings are mirrored when confronted with some female students. Yikes!
1888: Clem returns home for fourth year already dreading the impending threat of OWLs.
Personality: Kind and sweet, but a little emo. A social creature who is uneasy while alone.
