... Adaliah!

I'm new to Charming and I would love to introduce myself. I'm Adaliah or Addy and I've been roleplaying for more than .. 15 years? Oh gosh I'm becoming so old. I'm 29 years old atm, turning 30 on the 11th of July (yes yes the big 3 0). I'm from the Netherlands, so I guess my timezone is a bit different than most of the people here, but I'm sure there are some moments when we're all online!

I work full-time as an online marketeer (more specifically a SEO specialist, which means I make sure websites are found when people look for something in Google). I love to read (currently re-reading the Eragon series), watch series, write, run and play tennis! Oh, and I also love good food and great wine. We're going camping in France in July and I'm already so freaking exciting for all the cheese and food and wine and everything <3.

Recently my life got turned upside down, because 14 weeks ago I became a mom! Which is the best thing ever, but also quite intense haha. I'm ready to get back into roleplaying, but have to give a heads up that with working full-time and being a mother to my little boy I think I have time once or twice a week to post. I am frequently on Discord though, so we can always chat and hang out and plot!

My first character is Jules, who is a 27 year old cursebreaker. I'd love to plot with you, throw your characters at me!

I'd love to get to know you guys!

Reading your intro post here reminded me of trying to connect with new friends on Bumble BFF and I would totally swipe right if you ever happen to move to Washington state in the US though why would anyone move here these days ugh. Anyway you seem super cool and I'm happy you're here.

As far as characters, Jules might know Ben here who is a few years older and worked as a freelance cursebreaker for some years (1884-1887). Looks like they missed each other professionally but they might move in similar circles, since Ben is also really into Quidditch and many of his friends were/are players.

Also Dorothea Twycross is a Hogsmeade resident and an eligible woman if he's open to romance

I'm Bee, I'm 35, a mom of 3, though mine are a little older (5/7/8) and also Board Mom. I'm a teacher in a primary school for the moment, but looking to move up to a higher level this upcoming year. I'm on the East Coast of the US and generally probably more around late at night for you, but I have some free time on Thursdays all to myself, so I'll probably see you around! I don't Discord, but I do check the board and any PMs pretty frequently throughout the day, so that's a good way to reach me!

I have some networking options for you as well, but like MJ I'll leave those up to your networking/character introduction post! My need for organization likes to keep things where they go haha.

Welcome to the site and I have to say, 30 isn't that old, barely a third of the average lifespan in these days. Lots of years ahead compared to how many are behind. Besides, you're only as old as you feel you are.

I've only been here since February so relatively new. I look forward to a chance to role play with you, either with Jules or any future characters you create.

I like your name, it sounds nice when pronounced (assuming it's pronounced the way I think it is of course. Either way it's a nice name)

Hi MJ, thank you for your welcome! And almost the same timezone! Yay! I literalyy watch everythiiinnngggg haha. Just watched Umbrella Academy, Stranger Things, a Belgium travel show (the episode that is on right now is him in Venezuela) and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt haha. So yeah, diverse xD. Trying to watch all that I can before it's only gonna be kids TV shows hahaha. What do you like to watch?

Hi! Haha I do have to say that I also feel rather old at the moment with the little sleep I'm getting hahah. But yeah, I get what you mean XD.

The name was actually the name of the first character I ever made, and it stuck haha. Thanks!
