Greetings & Salutations, Charming! I decided to make this little introduction thread because so many have been in this community for years and know each other well, whereas I'm a fresh face. You may all call me Honey, I'm 23 years old and I've been writing in a roleplay setting for years, though I have also done some solo writing throughout the years. I was invited by my roommate and best friend, Talia, who is also a new face around here as we both have a huge interest in the Victorian / Edwardian Era. I hope to write with many of your characters and get to know you all soon - please don't hesitate to PM me if you want to talk to me for any reason, whether it be just to chat or to plot out an idea, as it's the best way to get into contact with me. I'm always available for posts, though for the moment the only character I have who could logically interact with Elisabeth would be Terence Higgs, who teaches art at Hogwarts.

I have Seraphina Hall, aged 13, who is a second year Hufflepuff that one or both of them can despise (she's half-vampire and WC), and I'm definitely resurrecting Naima Mokani ASAP tomorrow (didn't mean to let her disappear in the AC!) that can be friendly with Elisabeth - although she will more likely than not be departing Hogwarts following her OWLs for the Pendergast School.

In addition to them, I have Giselle Hunt, seventh year Ravenclaw, Isolda Binns, seventh year Slytherin, and some possible summer connections in the forms of society types that at least Elisabeth's family might know. Like Naeva here.

I can't speak for Christopher so I shall summon Talia (Christopher Darling) haha, but absolutely Elisabeth would probably make multiple comments that Seraphina should not be allowed in the school, lest she try and eat them.

Naima is so pretty! I feel Elise probably knows her more through her twin as they're in the same house, but also general UCPB society stuff. Haha, funny thing is Elise probably won't be going either after what happens this summer anyway :0

I'm always interested in threads and plotting whenever you'd like ^^ Oh! So Elisabeth or Élisabeth is the French, German, and Dutch form of the English form, Elizabeth. Given her family is from the French part of Switzerland (and France itself) I thought it would fit.

I'm Nichole! It is a pleasure to meet you, Honey! I'm 22 and have roleplayed off and on since I was 11/12ish? It has been a bit hah. For your interest, my current student is Calla Potts here, she is a Hufflepuff a year above Elisabeth. Calla is quite overly friendly with everyone. She is, however, a bit tomboyish, plays quidditch, and tends to hang around with muggleborns and working class folks so it just depends on if Elisabeth likes her. The Potts family does run one of the main floral shops in Hogsmeade so if she's ever stopped she might know 'er from there or school!

I don't think Kit would hate her, but he might be a bit wary of her? He's Muggleborn so he isn't really familiar with all the blood purity, half breed drama, but the concept of vampires (especially if they learn about them in DADA like they're some sort of monsters who have been known to hurt humans) would scare him. At the same time, I think he'd be curious about her for Science reasons lol because he never even knew vampires were real, let alone that they could have half-breed children. As for the class thing, that might be an issue - he wouldn't be mean to her or anything, but he tries not to fraternize below his class or reputation too much as he knows he's not really supposed to. But, you know, it happens - they're schoolmates, so conversations can still just happen.

Hello there and welcome! I'm Elvi, in my 30s, and from Finland. I used to RP a lot in high school but then took a long break and just got back to it again. I've only been here for around a month, so as one newbie to another I can confirm that Charming is a super friendly and welcoming place. No biting whatsoever has happened during my time here.

Unfortunately I don't have any teen characters either, but I do have Professor Theodosia Twycross who teaches Ancient Studies and is the Ravenclaw HoH. As a Slytherin who doesn't take that subject (I think?) Elisabeth wouldn't probably have a lot of reasons to interact with her, but if you have some ideas she's there! And if I read your apps correctly there was a recent incident with a Ravenclaw (Christopher Darling?) which easily could've caused them to cross paths.

In any case, yay, nice to meet you and welcome again!

Kit effed up lmaooo - Basically, he was doing some experimental stuff with his potions and added some stuff in there that he shouldn't and it exploded and got all over Elise's dress and burned a hole through it (though she was covered up quickly to preserve her modesty) and she had to go to the hospital wing because she nearly got badly burned/scarred from it. So, uhh, Kit is in big trouble with his HoH.

So we're both well-seasoned roleplayers! It's wild how the trends have changed in these years. Elisabeth adores flowers, so I'm sure she's stopped by The Potts family floral shop, especially as she lives in Hogsmeade. If she's overly friendly, it's possible Elise is kind to her back, but not exactly friends either as she's far more feminine and absolutely not a tom-boy, and will not hang out with the working class. She's not as awful about muggleborns as she used to be, but her family are known purists so I'm sure she's got a reputation. An idea would be perhaps tutoring her in Herbology because Elise has whatever the opposite of a green thumb is and is probably failing miserably - though, Elise may also reason there's no point if she's stuck going to finishing school next year (though as the all-seeing god of her, she will not be). Either way, Calla is super cute!

History nerds unite! The Victorian Era/Edwardian Era is my autistic special interest so I'm trying to learn all I can about it. Also, those things are a solid aesthetic - llamas give me flashbacks to like, 2012 and I'm not sure how I feel lmaooo. My favorite animal is the cow!

Ooh Slytherin HoH! If we could think of something, I would love to have her interact with some of her instructors - especially as I see that he's the Potion's professor and Elisabeth is beyond gifted at potions (she could be an accomplished potioneer if given the chance). I see that Emma lives in Hogsmeade and is Upper Class, so there's a chance they might run in the same circles during holidays (though being of new money, I know there are sometimes rifts as the Roses are old money)! Both of them had mothers who got sick during the laughing plague, though, Elise's mother didn't make it unlike Emma's. Elise also has a love of reading, so perhaps she's been in her Uncle's bookstore. I think there's a possibility they could be friends? Elise would find her whimsical nature delightful, honestly.

Elise says your boy is cute. She's in the leisure sports club so she might have seen him there, if not just in the common room. Elisabeth isn't really a rule-breaker, though, so I don't think he's busted her out of her room after hours or anything like that. I particularly took a look at Paxton, since they're in the same year and they have two electives together: Care of Magical Creatures and Ghoul Studies. She probably thinks he's weird, but like, she may ask him some ghost-related questions lmao.

It's definitely wild to think about anyone being on a site for that long. I'm used to sites that die within a few months to a few years so honestly, I'm very impressed with Charming. Thanks for the warm welcome I posted up my networking, but if you don't have anyone, for now, that's fine! Perhaps someday we'll have compatible characters :D
