"The left seems logical." Kenton agreed with Podmore. The young lady seemed concerned though, might as well explain the full rationale then. "That way if it's a dead end we start down the next, then the next." He gestured to each hallway before them in turn.

At least there's no fog in here. Torches light the sides. The walls and structure may be reminiscent of Group F's dreams - a little less surrealist, though. They proceed to the left - down into the depths of the building for some amount of time before things get sticky.

Literally sticky. They are starting to sink, and fast.

Taking the lead was something Clint was good at and it was exactly what he'd done. If someone went a different direction other than what had already been agreed upon, that was on them. However, going first wasn't all it was cut out to be apparently. Not in that situation at least. Everything went rather simply and easily until he felt as if he couldn't really move forward but instead began to sink.

"Shit," he said out loud before looking back behind him, "Stop!" Hopefully the others heeded him before they, too, began to sink.

Kenton had taken up post in the back of the group as they started walking, some sense of chivalrously watching their backs a half formed notion in the back of his mind. At the call of stop from Podmore he grabbed the lady's wrist to stop her.

Podmore appeared to be sinking, Kenton realized. He pushed forward and held out a hand to help the man. Apparently the floor wasn't all that safe.

Odette had decided to trust Mr. Yaxley's words, going with them in the suggested direction. This lead to her being in the middle of the group. What were they to find by going up?

This question was soon answered. Being pulled back, she would have naturally told the man to take his hand off of her for sake of her modesty. However, she was far to distracted by what was happening to Mr. Podmore. Taking a couple of steps back of her own in shock, she watched as Mr. Yaxley tried to help the other man. What else could she do?

As they began their approach upward, Andrew decided to stand at the rear incase anything would attack them from behind.

He stopped and peered over the shoulder of the girl and other guy. Then his eyes widened as he noticed the Ministry employee slowly falling into the ground.

Pushing past the girl, Andrew helped Kenton in offering a hand, "Hold on tight and we'll pull you up. Maybe we ought try another path instead?"

Clint was grateful that the other men had had the presence of mine to hang back some. If they hadn't, they'd all be screwed. As it was, they were offering a hand to help pull him out and he'd be an idiot not to take it. He reached for their hands and hoped that whatever gods may or may not be up there that they were able to pull him free of the quickly sinking ground.

The trio manages to pull Mr. Podmore out of the quicksand. Unfortunately, this means they must either turn back or find a way across it.

Once out of the quicksand, Clint brushed himself and looked back at the group. "Unless someone has wood in their back pocket for a bridge, we're not going that way," he said with a shake of his head, "I say we go back and head down the middle path instead." He waited until there was a response then followed the rest along the way to their new path.

With Podmore safely out of the quicksand and standing on solid ground Kenton realized that this venture was likely to be more dangerous than a weird dream and peristantly itching bud bites. Seeing as that was the case it was likely in their best interest to choose the safest route from here on out. "I agree." Who knew if they even had the luxury of the infirmary in here, likely the only way out was to figure it out. Or death. But Kenton didn't intend on dying, and oddly he didn't intend on letting the others die either. He'd chalk it up to being a healer rather than any fondness for the others.

Odette was starting to feel more and more useless as everything happened around her. No, she didn't want to be useless. All she could do for now was wait until she found a way to become useful. Deciding that her best bet was to stick by these men who seemed to know what they were doing, she nodded in agreement to the statement of Mr. Podmore. Part of her couldn't help but be grateful to Mr. Yaxley. If it hadn't been for him, she might have gotten herself stuck as well.

Having pulled the man safely from the floor, Andrew nodded in agreement and began to cautiously walk back toward the entrance room before turning to the middle room. It looked to be quite eerie though given what had happened, he wasn't slightly surprised.

Stopping for a moment, Andrew noticed the girl who had done nothing and had remained silent. She looked slightly overwhelmed.

A feeling of guilt rushed over him briefly and he moved toward her with a smile, offering a soothing tone, "You're doing fine, Miss... You're brave for helping. I'll stay by you and we can help one another, okay?"

Andrew then turned to look at the other two and nodded his head toward the middle room, "We ought to stay a few paces apart, too. Just incase there are any further... traps. Better not have us all in danger at once. More chance of all of us surviving. I'll walk at the back again; you two can be at the front and she can be in front of me. Whatever is going on, we need our wits about us. More than we have had to so far."

They will notice that the path has shifted since they were last here, or, perhaps, that it is not the same path. Rather than winding them back towards the doors, it winds them downwards.

Sitting to the side of a large stone door is the girl that they saw in the dream earlier - or, at least, the appearance of her. "Hello," she says, "Do you remember what was shown to you?"

Clint was not at all amused to see the same girl that had led them into a room with a coffin. But clearly, there was nothing that could be done with it as he was the one leading the way, again.

"Yes," he answered simply. He wasn't about to go into details. Not until he knew what lie ahead for them.

As they approached where Andrew had believed them to have came from, he noticed it was... different. And a woman was there. The one from the dream.

After the man answered her question, Andrew arched his eyebrow and asked his own, "The gemstone? Is that it? What was it? And who are you?" Andrew asked as he stepped forward to stand next to Clinton.

He wasn't sure what was happening but at least there seemed to be progress.

Odette was hesitant at the words of Mr. Lyness. After all, wasn't he the man who married a veela? His judgement alone was to be questioned. She was far more inclined to stick with Mr. Yaxley, who she gave credit to for saving her life. Still, she simply gave a polite nod. Despite what her twin thought, she wasn't rude.

As they went the way they had supposedly come, she was confused as to the change. Though there was the fact that they had been through plenty of confusing and crazy things. Seeing the girl gave her pause. Was the girl real? A vision of some sort? One they were all seeing if so. "What are you up to?" She asked, near demanded, the girl that only seemed to be a sign of trouble.
