Throwing his hands up in expaseration, Justice shot Grumpy Gal a look.

"I don't know, you're a woman! Use your ~womanly~ skills and go judge for yourself!" he instructed before running towards the troll. After a moment of hesitation, he grabbed onto the troll's arm—and unfortunately found himself hanging from it a moment later.

Aw, fuck.

"Where do you want me to lead him?" he shouted to below despite having literally zero control of this situation. (He had it, though. He was sure.)

Things seemed to be going from bad to worse only a few feet away from them, and Ben felt like he ought to go and do something helpful — but in all the chaos, it was hard to tell what would even be useful. Were the Ministry types still trying to distract the troll? Where were they luring it to? The troll was in between him and them, so if he tried to get to them (which he wasn't even sure he could manage, given that he hadn't tried standing since being kicked) he would likely ruin whatever plan they had already.

While he was still pulling himself up into a proper sitting position and trying to reappraise himself of the situation, the girl beside him made a rather ridiculous comment, which he couldn't help but laugh at. The laughing soon turned to coughing up more bits of blood, though he tried to recover himself as quickly as possible. "That's the least of our problems," he remarked, just as the troll picked up a child and then unceremoniously flung him in their direction.

"That might be," Ben said, shoving the girl out of the way of the incoming student.

As if the situation couldn't get any worse the troll sent Fisk flying back toward the kids leaving Percy wondering just how the hell he was going to get the building to collapse on the troll. Out of no where the kid (he presumed it was the one he'd heard earlier, but really couldn't care if it was the same one, still a kid) leaped onto the troll's arm in an apparent attempt at suicide a moment later the kid was sent flying.

There was no time to look for something to throw. But Fisk may have been on to something. The building. She'd said it was unstable and coming down. Percy dashed forward narrowly avoiding the troll's next swing. He whistled as he rushed between it's horrible large legs and dashed into the building. Hopefully everyone had gotten out. He whistled and then yelled for good measure. "HEY UGLY! YOU LEFT THE BUILDING STANDING!" It was the best he could do to try and get the creature lumbering into the collapsing building - the very same one he had just entered. Perhaps the debris would be enough to at least the stun the damn thing.

Zinnia found herself laughing as the man beside her laughed at her own ridiculous claim. It was ridiculous but in a state of shock, ridiculous things tended to happen. Then he was coughing and she looked at him with a look of worry and concern. It was short lived though hand he was shoving her again.

She was shoved out of the way just in time before a kid landed right where she'd been. Or at least, most of her was out of the way. The kid landed on some of her skirts. Hopefully that was enough cushion for him so he didn't break his neck.

Zelda came to a stop face down. Her senses kicked back in and her fingers twitched along the ground. She wiggled her toes. She coughed. More blood came up, but she didn't think any bones were broken - although her entire middle felt like one big bruise and she was likely to have to muster a hospital trip after this.

"Help me up," she requested, not even opening an eye to check if anyone was there.

And there he went, soaring, flying through the skies.

Well, for about two seconds. He landed on the girl, but not enough on her for him to make a pained joke about it. He'd fortunately landed on his legs, but... he'd unfortunately landed on his legs. Looking down, he could see the bone sticking out.

Uh oh.

"I see bone! Bone, I tell you!" he moaned in the midst of his pain, wondering how the fuck he was expected to play quidditch after this. Maybe the healers would be able to make him not-crippled?

Oh, she was alive. That was nice. Helping her up was something Morgana could do while Probably A Gryffindor went to his death. "I got ya, lady," she said as she helped the young woman up to her feet. "Are you able to stand? Nothing broke?" Then the older dude was yelling at the troll some more and she could hear that the Probably A Gryffindor boy was alive but not well.

The kid's leg was broken — like, really broken. Ben had no concept of how to deal with that, since he'd never been one for healing magic, and what basic first aid he knew was useless in the fog, anyway. His knowledge of human anatomy was only good enough to get him familiar with the basics of what lay beneath ladies' skirts, not where to put a bone after it had been broken. His own broken limbs had always been dealt with via magic, and while he was diverting his eyes and trying to pretend it didn't hurt as much as it did.

So rather than deal with that mess, he turned his attention to the troll again and watched one of the Ministry blokes run into the building everyone else had just been running out of. What was he planning? Ben had been far too distracted getting himself and the girl out of danger to keep track of what the scheme had been — he'd barely been able to keep track of the troll, which was a much more pressing issue where his immediate health and well being was concerned.

Struggling to his feet, Ben took one staggering step towards the ruined front of the sweet shop, where the troll was leaning in to follow the man who'd just run inside. "Uh," Ben said, still not sure what was going on. "What can I —" do to help, he was going to say, but was seized with another coughing fit, which racked his rib cage with more spasms of pain.

The man who was closest to him looked in his direction—actually looked him in the eye!—before taking off (though ultimately collapsing). Justice left out a choked huff in offense; that served him right! "You, girl! The not-injured one! Don't leave me here!" he moaned, too afraid to move himself lest his leg break off.

Zinnia stared in absolute horror as the boy landed right next to her on his own two feet. Only...it wasn't a pretty sight. She gagged and quickly averted her gaze so that she didn't actually throw up. And all she'd wanted were some damned sweets!

"Should probably go to the Hospital," Zelda said. She glanced around them. With the boy's leg bone poking up gruesomely, and Handsome Guy coughing up blood, she wasn't going to be the only one. Adlard wasn't going to make it out unscathed, either - Zelda watched with a pit in her stomach as the troll followed him.

She turned to the girl and said, with urgency, "Can you run? For the hospital? We're going to need transport. And they need to alert Accidents & Catastrophes workers, too."

Percy ducked into the damaged store front, keeping his eyes as peeled as they could be in the fog that had leaked into the store. "QUIN!" He shouted for his friend, in part to keep the troll's attention and it part to make sure his friend was not in the building. He hoped that Quincey hadn't been in the building, but knowing his friend he likely had. Although if he'd had the good sense he'd have evacuated through the kitchen. It was best he could hope for. As well as any others who might be in the store.

"GET OUT!" He yelled as he scrambled over broken pieces of furniture and store shelves. Candy was everywhere. A young woman frozen in place stood in the corner. Crap! "MOVE!" The troll's steps echoed closer behind him. He didn't have time for this. He grabbed the woman, literally dragging her behind him as best he could as he navigated into Quin's kitchen. "COME ON!" Although it wasn't clear if he was shouting at the woman or at the troll or really just shouting.

Wood beams crunched as the troll stepped into the store front and the building began to rumble. Percy spotted the door and practically threw the woman out of it, grateful it was hanging open. Hopefully that meant someone had managed to get out the back and away from the mess outside.

The building was starting to crumble around him and Percy was close to the door when it finally came down, a beam landing on his leg as he slammed into a counter his head banging against the wood and slamming Percy into unconsciousness. The last thing Percy heard was a loud anguished cry from the troll as it too came crashing down into oblivion.

The Probably A Gryffindor was yelling for her to not leave him and just. Really. Really? She had told him that they should get out of here but nooo. She was distracted from that by the womans instructions and she nodded. She worked at the hospital so had its path pretty memorized into her brain. "Don't worry, Pretty Boy," she yelled back at the boy since she didn't know his name and "Probably A Gryffindor Boy" was more of a mouthful.. "I'm getting help! Besides that old guys got the troll distracted." With those being her last words, she ran off to do as the woman had instructed her to do.

Letting out drawn-out sight, Justice leaned back until he felt his back hit the ground. If he was going to die, he wasn't going to die in a sitting-up position. He didn't deserve that sort of discomfort.

(Hopefully Grumpy Gal would return before he bit the dust.)

The building was coming down, which meant there was officially nothing more that Ben could hope to accomplish. With some difficulty, he sat back down on the cobblestones, still clutching his gut. When the rubble settled, the troll wasn't moving anymore — and neither was anything else in that direction. Hopefully the man who'd run inside wasn't dead.

Hopefully Ben wasn't dead, come to think of it — or at least dying. His stomach still hurt something awful.
