Kenton certainly hadnt intended to take the lead but he would appear a coward if he didn't take the man's suggestion. They began forward again winding downward through the pathway.

At the sight of the young lady from the dream (maybe not a dream after all?) Kenton almost groaned. The others asked too many questions, given the last time they had done that Kenton was sure they'd get no answers. He was almost grateful Podmore said next to nothing. Kenton himself remained silent.

Mr. Yaxley had the right idea: they get no response. The woman vanishes, leaving them instead with the door.

Unamused by the lack of response, Clint simply stepped forward and reached for the door and opened it. They'd come that far, after all, why not just get it over with.

Odette should have known. It was as if they would only find more and more questions instead of answers. Hiding her frustration as best as she could, she peaked over Mr. Podmore’s shoulder to try to see what was on the other side of the door.

Andrew wasn't truthfully expecting any answers though when the lady vanished, Andrew tightened his shoulders and spoke up, "We should enter - it's clearly guiding us there. But be careful and stick to how we are. Go slow." He said from the back.

Glancing behind himself momentarily, Andrew waited until the others moved before he began to walk to the door and into what lay beyond himself.

Of course it would be suggested that Kenton go in first. He sighed and led the way through the door. Hopefully it wouldnt be the site for a living sacrifice again.

The room is dark.

It's the same black coffin as before, but the chains are broken, and the top lies open. Someone has been broken out - or broken out herself.

Eventually they were all in the room and though it was dark, it didn't take long for the sight of the coffin to be evident. Clint took note of the opened coffin and broken chains. He didn't have a good feeling about it, of that he was sure. "I think we'd better get out of here," he said simply, not at all keen on finding whatever it was that had been in there without the use of magic.

It had been one thing when Kenton viewed this in a dream. This was a whole other story. Unconsciously he fished his wand out of his pack and held it in front of him - for all the good it would do them now. “I’m inclined to agree.” Kenton nodded to Podmore.

Oh so now the men were going to become cowards? "If we don't find out what was in that coffin, it might only lead to worse things occurring. And not just to us. Perhaps this chaos spreads to our loved ones. We can't just flee and hope for the best." She said. Going straight for the coffin, she had learned from earlier not to actually touch it. That had been Miss Scrimgeour's mistake. Looking around, she hoped to find answers.

Oh Merlin no, Andrew thought as his eyes came to meet with the coffin. Be watched with a wince as the foolish girl decided to approach it deciding it was best to keep his distance.

"I'm also inclined to agree. Miss, it would be best you move from there and we can find another route. Whatever was inside that is likely out - or waiting - and I'd rather you not die. Let's go."

With that, Andrew turned around to leave the room.

The coffin is empty. But somewhere down the hallway, they hear a shuffling sound.

No sooner had Mr. Lyness spoken out about the girl's idiocy and Clint heard some shuffling. He glanced at the others. "Anyone else hear that?" he questioned, his voice just above a whisper. Having noticed Mr. Yaxley had pulled his wand out, Clint followed suit. He just hoped they would be of better use than poking an assailant's eye out.

Was the young lady determined to place herself in danger? Kenton watched with annoyance. Well if she were, he supposed he didn’t need to worry too terribly much about keeping her safe. Her death would be on her hands. Mr. Lyness, however, seemed to have the right idea as he tried to reason with the lady.

Behind them in the hallway Kenton heard something, Podmore appeared to have picked up on it as well. The light was dim and Kenton said without really thinking about it, “Lumos.” As he took a step back. Whatever had been in here appeared to be where they had just been. Mr. Lyness’s plan of finding an alternate exit seemed the best possible course of action right now.

Andrew exhaled at the sound and then mentally rolled his eyes. Magic didn't work. It shouldn't work; he wasn't expecting it to work.

He did however, pull out his wand in response - just in case. He wasn't too sure what it was down the hall though he didn't want to die. He had a family to get home to.

"I said let's go - we can find a way around... whatever is down there. I'd rather nobody else be injured," Andrew said with an assertive tone. At this point, he was more interested in ensuring everyone survived than figuring out what was going on.

Moving to the front with Podmore, "I've quite the knowledge in non-magical means of conflict. Though I'd sooner not see any life lost. Whatever that was, I don't want to find out." He said quietly and gestured toward the door.

Cowards, the lot of them. Merlin, weren't men supposed to be brave? Father was brave. Perhaps she would be the only one with real results in this group after all. Not so useless now. After seeing no clues, she huffed in annoyance. Was there truly nothing to find. Electing to keep the mentality of not touching the coffin, she gave up on the room for answers. Looking back in the way the men were and where she had come, she walked over to try to see past them. Unlike them, she wanted to know what the noise had been.
