Adrestia curtsied in her most proper and appropriate way to both the minister of magic who was overseeing the duel, and Mrs Selwyn, the woman who was rather the epitome of everything she hated about English society, which is why she got a very pleasant and suitably flattering smile.

Another magic manipulating counter hex seemed the best option. As the other cast, Adrestia cast the jaadoo vaapasee, a hex which would send the power of Mrs Selwyns spell back along it's original route and when it hit her wand it would turn to a snake which would wind itself up her arm

Miss Dantés' spell was successful, and Ross reversed the transfiguration on the wand with a flick of his own. He bid Miss Dantés to begin the second round.

Well that was something. She caught Ramdas' eye out of the corner of her vision and he gave a stoic and approving nod, and she glowed a little under the light of the praise from the austere Indian man.

On her turn at the offensive position she performed another complicated Indian hex, this one would turn Mrs Selwynns dress into a constricting python, which would bind her arms and legs and squeeze, preventing her from moving.

Mrs. Selwyn's spell caused a strong flash of light - Ross shielded his eyes with his hands and when he looked back up, squinting to recover, oneof the women behind Mrs. Selwyn had clearly been hit by the spell instead. He untransfigured the audience member's gown before bidding Mrs. Selwyn begin the tie-breaker.

Preening like a peacock Ambrosia went on the attack by casting a full body bind to lock the girl's arms and legs. If she liked snakes so much she might as well have the movement of one!

The fact that she had lost a round to a preening housewife - wrankled! In repseonse Addie cast a hex that plunged the other vision into an extreme darkness, a pitch matt blackness through which the eye could discern no shape or form. Try hitting your target through that.
