Standing opposite Tatiana Lestrange Connie had the unnerving feeling that she was looking into the face of the Sphinx once again. She had seen the young woman before of course but, suffice to say, their paths had not crossed despite the many Hogwarts balls they had both attended. She doubted Miss Lestrange even knew who she was.

Inclining her head Connie attempted to transfigure the other woman into a glass statue.

A strong start saw Miss Lestrange looking quite dazzling, set in glass, but much less proficient at disarming anyone.

Connie had enough experience with the Lestrange Glare that she managed to keep her cool and cast a knockback jinx to throw the girl's aim off course.
