On the evening of the 21st, Mr. and Mrs. Warwick Nott were taking a stroll in Wellingtonshire when they were attacked in the streets. One witness came onto the scene in time to see Mrs. Nott being drained, indeed a rather troubling sight.

Mr. Nott was already dead by this time, and Mrs. Nott was at first thought only to be traumatized and quickly brought to the hospital. Healers quickly diagnosed signs of vampiric transformation and Mrs. Nott had since been sent to the Ministry.

Upon recovery, Mrs. Nott had decided to make the honorable sacrifice of leaving her son in the custody of his human grandparents. Mrs. Nott has also decided to go through the legal process of changing her name to Ms. Avril Lukeson upon the request of her in-laws, for the sake of separation from vampiric affiliation.
