Appearance: A man of 5ft 11 inches in height, he is right handed. He has dark skin, dark hair and eyes. His expression is often genial and good natured. He wears small glasses that are often perched on the end of his nose. His hands and forearms bear a good number of scratches and scars. He also has a rather large slashing scar across his right shoulder, it extends up to his base of is neck, and when he moves certain ways the scar can be seen at his collar line. He has long dark hair, which he wears loose, often complaining of headaches when he tries to tie it up too tightly, but he can and does constrain it for balls and parties. He wears mostly muggle menswear.
History:
*Born to a standard middle class family, his father was an mazizoologist who bred owls, kneazles, and hippogriffs, amount other creatures. Given the interest in owls and part kneazles as Hogwarts pets, the family started to sell to Wizards seeking pets and working animals, and introduced rats to their repertoire along with other 'domestic' magical animals. The sales all took places out of the family home.
*Jasper showed magic and went to Hogwarts where he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He was a good student and was encouraged by his parents to focus on magical creatures. He had a decent interest in the area, so when he completed his schooling he apprenticed to a friend of his fathers as an mazizoologist.
He travelled for a few years, researching and writing, before returning when he was 21. He and his father opened a shop in 1877 following the establishment of Hogsmeade.
He attended a conference in Ghana where he met an intelligent and beautiful magical animal breeder. She was a Uagadou graduate. By the end of the conference he considered himself to be rather in love. The pair wrote to each other daily for weeks, and within 2 months she had asked her father for his blessing.
She moved to Scotland to be with him. Haniah helped her husband become an animagus, having mastered the transformation herself while still a teenager.
They have begun to expand their family.
