My flatmate and I have found ourselves in a bit of a predicament, and I'm writing to you for... advice, I suppose? I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing that falls within your professional sphere or not. If not, I'm sure you could point me in the right direction.

I believe our flat is being haunted — or has been cursed, perhaps? A suspicious amount of seemingly inconsequential things have begun to go wrong and recently some of our doors have stopped working, which has made the house rather uninhabitable. Is this the sort of thing one can ask the Ministry to come and fix, or is there some sort of agency that will investigate these things?

If this is within your realm of expertise, do you think you could advise us? I can file a report or something if that's necessary — or do you work freelance for friends?

It's either a curse or a poltergeist. Curse I can help you with - poltegeist is the Spirit Division, and I can't help with that, but I can tell you if it is a poltegeist or not.

I can work freelance for friends, and I'm not on call Thursday through Saturday - I can come by the flat and check it out, though, as long as you're not busy.
