Appearance: Standing at 5' 6", Tilly is sufficiently imposing. She favors robes over Muggle clothing, although her robes tend to toe the line of the indecently colorful. She always has on at least two necklaces and three rings, and though her wand can be holstered within a voluminous left sleeve, she has been known to stick it in her hair when she's busy. Her square jaw and green eyes are framed by a riot of blonde curls, which she partially tames by pulling it back into a loose bun.
History:
1838 - Myrtle Potts is born, the third Potts child and first girl.
1841 - Myrtle shows the first signs of magic when she charms her stuffed elephant down from the shelf.
1845 - Basil goes off to Hogwarts and Myrtle misses him loads.
1847 - Cecil starts at Hogwarts and Myrtle begs to be allowed to go with. She locks herself in her room for two whole days after being left behind on the platform.
1849-50 (First Year) - It's finally Myrtle's turn on the Hogwarts Express. She buys five chocolate frogs with her allowance and gets a stomachache on the way to Hogwarts. This doesn't stop her from stuffing herself silly at the Welcoming Feast. She's sorted into Gryffindor.
1852-53 (Fourth Year) - Myrtle's first year without her oldest brother to pester. She doesn't much mind him being gone this time around. She shares a kiss with a Hufflepuff girl behind the greenhouses that May, and promptly tries to forget all about it.
1854-55 (Sixth Year) - Now Cecil is gone too, and Myrtle is glad of it. She kisses another girl, a Slytherin, and this time she's not so quick to forget.
1856 - Myrtle graduates with N.E.W.T.s in Arithmancy, Ancient Runes,  Herbology, Charms, and Transfiguration. She finds work as a secretary at the Ministry and continues to live with her parents.
1861 - Basil gets married to a Laurel, and Myrtle thinks they're a lovely match.
1862 - Amaryllis Potts is born, and Myrtle moves in with Basil and Laurel to help out after the birth. She never quite moves out.
1863 - 1875 - Basil and Laurel go on to have six more girls. Myrtle adores each and every one of them. She does not court anyone, much to her brother's chagrin. She teases him about just wanting to get her off his hands.
1877 - The Potts move to Hogsmeade. Myrtle is let go at her job with the Ministry. She starts working at the Hogsmeade branch of The Florist Potts and enjoys her time there, as well as the time she gets to spend with her family, although she clashes with Basil often.
1884 - Myrtle falls ill with the laughing fever and nearly does not recover. She is confined to bed rest for nearly four months and is forced to take a look at her life.
1885 - In need of a change, Myrtle applies to work at Hogwarts. Many of new nieces and nephews are there right now, and she misses her old stomping grounds. The Headmaster hires her readily enough, since she has the education and breeding and is willing to put up with the rowdy Gryffindors.
1888 - Myrtle has settled in to her job, and is generally respected by her brood, who view her as a strict aunt, although she thought a bit odd by the rest of the staff.
Personality: Myrtle is outspoken and brash. Though she has mellowed sightly since her days as a young woman, she rarely hesitates to state her opinion when asked, and is not one for beating around the bush, unless it comes to love. She does not stand for nonsense and is quick to anger.
