Appearance: Fully grown at 5 ft. 11 in. tall, Jeremiah is a broad shouldered specimen having spent most of his time since leaving Hogwarts after his OWL years being a quidditch player for the Chudley Cannons. He’s not bulky like some of his brothers, but he’s definitely long and lean without much fat on him. He is always ready with a smile, showing straight white teeth that he takes very good care of. Remi keeps his hair cut short on the sides and only slightly longer on the top for maximum efficiency. He’s all about a clean appearance since he spends his time taking care of owls and flirting with the mothers of the children going to Hogwarts for their first years. He does have a certain amount of scruff to him but that’s more because he thinks it makes him look rakish than anything else. His pale blue eyes are quite vivid against his tanned skin and he uses that to his advantage.

History:
1857: Born the eldest of seven children, Jeremiah has always been one to take on the burden of others just because it was how his father taught him to be. He would help burp his siblings and the older he got, he would help feed and bathe them too. He often drew the line at changing their nappies, but he grew accustomed to that the more children were born.
1865: At the age of eight years old, Jeremiah shows his first sign of magic by levitating on a broom his father had from years ago. The magic had really stopped working but Remi was able to make it levitate a few feet of the floor before it gave out.
1868: Jeremiah is sent to Hogwarts and Sorted into Gryffindor. He’s proud to be there and often boasts about it being the best House.
1869-72: Jeremiah tries out for the Gryffindor team and becomes one of their beaters. He does fairly well in his OWLs but decided that school just wasn’t for him. The only reason he had stayed so long was because of his love for quidditch and his aunt’s generosity in paying for her nephew’s education. It pays off to be nice to old people, apparently. You'll see that again in his life later on.
1873-77: Jeremiah tries out for the Chudley Cannons and makes the team as a reserve beater for several years.
1878-82: Finally! Jeremiah is a first string beater for the Cannons!!! He lives it large, spending what he could spare on drink for many years. He actually rarely drank himself, but he paid for others to drink and earned a lot of friends that way.
1882-86: Remi leaves the Cannons, albeit reluctantly, and takes a position as an employee at the owl emporium. It let him be close to his family in town and gives him direction when he felt lost.
1887- present: At the start of 1887, the owner of the owl emporium decided to retire. Many employees had come and gone, but Remi was the only one who stuck around faithfully. He gave ownership of the building and the address of who he could pay the rent for the land to Jeremiah and retired somewhere in town. He occasionally drops by the shop but he appears to be quite content as a retiree.
