After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1894. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Hi Charmers! Your friendly neighbourhood Kayte here with the rundown on some activities for June! This list may or may not end up being exhaustive—you know how we roll ;)
In-Character Activities
We have a very healthy roster of IC events for the month of June, with something for all sorts of character to attend! If you have an event idea that doesn't have to be in June, do consider holding onto it until July/August to spread the love! More importantly, though, have fun! <3
Among other activities is the Misses & Matrons Exhibition of Spellcraft. Please note that signups close on Wednesday, June 5th with the contest starting OOC on Thursday, June 6th!
Last but not least, Prefect Season is right around the corner! Played Hogwarts staff will be getting a PM from me later this week regarding recommendations/trash talking. Don't have any candidates to run this year? As always, There's an app for that.

Trivia Night is scheduled for June 23rd! This will run for three rounds, and be hosted via Zoom.
The Charming summer raffle kicks off today and runs until the September 1st AC~
Keep your eyes peeled: two roulettes (one for adults, one for the youngins) will be announced in the coming week or two!
Camp Charming 2024
Camp Charming 2024 is officially underway! This year, there are two ways to complete Camp—one focusing on OOC involvement and the other on posting. Both require a little bit of everything though ;)
Please note that...
Starting now, any approved characters can qualify for "Adopt, Don't Shop!". When you reach out to claim this, you'll need a link to the stored ad, a screenshot of the original ad, or a screenshot of the line entry on the Incomings list :)
Many of the upcoming activites this month are counted towards CC ;)
Remember: Staff will keep track of your post counts and OOC activity, but you are responsible for posting a link to your completed thread! Without this, you're not considered a successful Camper.
