Activity Check

Another activity check come and gone! The list of inactive accounts has been compiled and deactivations and list maintenance are underway :) If you lost a character you'd like back, you may post in Maintenance starting Wednesday, 8th May. If you have no currently active characters you can post in maintenance immediately!

(If you lost a character before the AC, you can post there whenever you'd like!)

The next AC will take place on Sunday, June 2nd.

Posting Wizard

April's Posting Wizard winner was Fallin (Sisse Thompsett) with 64 posts! May's competitors will be... Steph, Nichole, Sallie, Kayte, Bee and Olive! May the odds be ever in your favour!

Mark Your Calendars

We're already pretty flush with some IC May events, including the annual Hogwarts Coming Out Ball!

But OOC there's also a Charming Weekend on the horizon for Charming's birthday weekend, 7-10 June! Be there or be square.

With summer on the horizon, I'm also looking for some summer banner submissions. Send them in by May 19th!

In 2022, I decided I wanted to convert Adult Clubs to an actual documentation page and began a project that realistically should only take about an hour. This week, I remembered that goal.

Today, that goal has borne fruit: Clubs have a page!

Take a gander, and add any applicable characters to our shiny new spreadsheet at your leisure :) We also have a "new" OOC (but Old IC) club exclusively for the medical crew <3

AC Approaches

The next Activity Check will be in one week on Sunday, June 2nd! Please ensure that:

• Your mini-profile is filled in
  
• All of your characters have been listed in the Character Directory—check back on your entries to make sure they were processed properly! Anyone reactivated this month will need to be placed back on. 
  
• Characters made before the last AC have posted at least once since the last AC
  
• Profile has been filled in if not done during acceptance (Did you get a "DIY" PM? You'll need to do this!)
  
• Your character's height is displayed in their mini-profile—if you reactivate an account, this may need doing!
  

...and so does summer!

Lots to look forward to coming soon! And as usual we're looking for your June IC events, as well as any intersted parties for June Posting Wizard!

Congratulations to RAVENCLAW, the house cup winner for 1894!
That's right, Ravenclaw has won the House Cup with a total of 475 points! That isn't to say it was not a close race, of course: Slytherin was in second with 465, and Gryffindor in third with 440! Hufflepuff trailed behind with a less impressive 380. Characters eligible to earn the House Cup stamp will be PMed shortly.

As of this morning, students in years 1-6 have departed home for the summer months (or wherever their families are sending them), and the world will be their oyster! Don't forget, though: even though it's the summer holidays, some actions can have lasting consequences...

With the end of the school year, it's time to think about moving on! Students waiting on OWL or NEWT scores before Deciding Their Futures can remain in their student usergroups until those careers would begin in August, or switch into a temporary townie group (recommended usertitle: Recent Graduate). Those who do NOT need exam marks to start the rest of their lives can post in Maintenance to change usergroup & title when ready. If you're ever ready HOW ARE THEY GRADUATING.

This is not limited to seventh years: WC students, MC students who only need OWLs, and UC students heading to PSYR in the fall may also shed their Hogwarts colors an titles as they move on to the next phase of their lives~
