Introducing Callum Spinnet
b. 1867 | Slytherin Dropout | Hogsmeade | Footman & Occasional Fence
Charming, ambitious, and with a heart of gold-foil-on-cardboard, Callum Spinnet is a Hogsmeade resident, though by virtue of his profession, can work events all over Britain, making him particularly versatile. In his leisure time, he enjoys boxing and working with large animals, and while he inisists he's washed his hands of it, he does occiasionally help on the family farm, and may be seen minding their cart at the Hogsmeade market.
POTENTIAL CONNECTIONS:
- HOUSEMATES: Cal lives in a small, but tidy rooming house in Pennyworth with up to 3 other male housemates.
- THE FUCKER: At the end of their first year, a dormmate of Cal's framed him for stealing his pocket-watch, as the two had been butting heads all year. UCAB/MCAB male Slytherin, class of '85. If Cal hadn't been leaving anyways, this stunt would have cost him his education, and yeah, Cal bears a grudge.
- SCHOOL CHUMS: WCAB, probably male, and either in his year or a year ahead and in Slytherin. Likely spend a fair amount of their time in Hogsmeade.
- HOGSMEADE CREW: WC or lower-MC people local to Hogsmeade that might have ties to the market, local shops, or various local trades that would have interacted with Cal in the past, or might do so in future.
- PAST SPARKS: Not flames because I want him to face heartache in Real Time, but are you a Pretty Girl in the Hogsmeade area, WC, and in your leate teens to mid-twenties? Cal is: a flirt and also: up for casual sex.
- SERVICE: Do you work in a household? Cal doesn't work for a specific family anydays, and is essentially a freelance footman brought on for various events. This means that if your employers like to host a party or ambitious weekend, etc., he may have been brought on and thus, you may know him! This is not limited to Hogsmeade.
- SALES... INDUSTRY: Look, sometimes Cal gets his hands on some nice stuff. It may come from you, or somewhere else, and frankly, he keeps his beak out of the details. He is, however, delighted to pass merchandise in either directions—in exchange for a cut of the profits, of course.
PLOTTABLE(S): will be formally posted later, but hey, if you have a hankering or a pre-existing that fits, hit me up!
- THE BABY MAMA: In December of 1891, it was revealed that a daughter of the house Cal was working in was pregnant—and oops, he was the father. She was hastily married off to a much older man, and okay, he may have seen her since, and okay, they may have groped a bit in a cloakroom. (UCAB, born ~1867-1873)
- SUGAR MAMA: An attractive, married woman of means, aged 20s-40s, who uses Cal for sex and tosses some shiny things and gossip his way. Neither of them are emotionally attached, at least at present, and they are quite aware of where they stand. Could be pre-existing or developed moving forward!
Introducing Pandora Foxglove
b. 1853 | Slytherin ('72) | London | Assistant Head of the Department of Mysteries; Criminal
For two decades, time has been Pandora's area of expertise. As an Unspeakable, no one outside of the department knows explicitly what she does and she leans towards cagey even by DoM standards. This is an occupational hazard of her double life in the criminal side of magical London.
POTENTIAL CONNECTIONS:
- DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES: Pandora's career has been largely focused around time, though she tries to have her fingers in as many pies as possible—something that has only increased since her promotion to Assistant Head of the department. Would be very interested in sussing out her relationships with her colleagues here!
- THE WIDER MINISTRY: Knowing Pan, I don't think she would have done... anything to form connections to Generic Ministry Workers, however am interested to hash out how she gets on with other Ministry leadership!
- LONDON UNDERBELLY: Do you do crimes or associate with criminals? HMU.
- PAST LIVES: Pandora graduated from Hogwarts, Slytherin House, in 1872. She was very private during her time there, though did make two good friends (including a yearmate who comforted her in first year when her mother died) and was friendly enough with many other classmates.
