Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1894. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.
Tiny dragons have invaded Hogsmeade. I'd be quite enthusiastic about it if it weren't for the fact that one of them burned me today, which is why my handwriting is horrendous and harder to read than normal.
I haven't heard anything from Jimmy, Max, Eli or you lately — I trust that means none of you have gotten hurt by one of them? As I write this, it occurs to me that it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for Jimmy or Max to try and capture one of them to keep; pass on my warnings to them, will you? They may be cute, but my arm says otherwise.
I've sent some fresh rolls along with the owl — hopefully he hasn't eaten all of them by the time it gets to you.
I heard a couple kids talking about catching and keeping some but I don't know about Jimmy or Max. Little dragons would make better pets than toads at least. Two already tried to bite me or else I might have tried to get one myself.
Do you know if I had a finger bitten off could a Healer grow it back?
