Student Updates 2022

The first three must be completed prior to the next AC, or your character will be deactivated. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Returning Hogwarts Students

Please post the form below on the appropriate account. When you’ve been updated, your post will be deleted. “Extra Titles” are limited to quidditch positions and club presidencies* (but not club memberships!)—anything with a badge does not need to be included.

* Please do not update club presidents until Elsie Kirke has rolled over clubs!

You do not need to do this if your character was accepted on or after August 7st unless there is an error with your account.

Please inform us if your character is a halfbreed or otherwise could not prove human parentage, or if they were a stone child. This could impact their year.

Departing Hogwarts Students

All graduates have been seen to, but graduates aren’t the only students who don’t come back. Players of working class and generally dim characters who have completed their fifth year should seriously consider pulling them out to start a career/get married/focus on more practical learning, as should anyone with a character who will be 15+ and might want to be a Pendergast Rose. Please post in maintenance to get these changes processed!

#Realism

Remember that most careers don’t actually need NEWT grades! See here for some examples.

Incoming First Years

If your character was born between September 2nd, 1880 and September 1st, 1881 inclusive, they will have received their Hogwarts letter. Muggleborns would even have received a visit from a school official! If they intend to attend, please post below with your character’s DOB, the fact that they’ll be a first year, and whether you want to do the sorting ceremony and/or have a set house in mind. (Remember, the Hogwarts is my Home stamp requires a sorting post!)

Quidditch Hopefuls

Tryouts will be starting OOC on August 28th with signups opening a week before. We have a number of slots available, so start thinking about which of your characters might be interested!

Gryffindor will be looking for a beater.
Hufflepuff will be looking for two beaters.
Ravenclaw will be looking for a chaser, a beater, a keeper, and a seeker.
Slytherin will be looking for a chaser, a beater, a keeper, and a seeker.

Unless listed as Available for Fall '92, the positions above are available to snag for current/newly played students at any time before tryout signups go live.
