Plottage Preferences

PLOTS: While I don't require you to tell me everything that's going to happen in a plot, I like it when my partner tells me the general direction they want it to go, or at least, let me know if there is something you don't want me to do. I don't want to accidentally do something that ruins your plans! I don't mind absolutely winging it and I will jump into open threads when the chance arises too!

POSTS: I do my best to match my partner's post length, but so long as you give me enough to work with, I don't fully expect it from you. I also don't require a specific word count that you need to meet to write with me as every thread is going to be different. I'm a pretty relaxed writing partner that also won't rush you, but please, if you're not feeling a plot and you want to drop a thread, please let me know.

SUBJECT MATTER: The only trigger I have really isn't relevant on a Victorian Era site, so I'm pretty comfortable writing anything.

Middle Class

~— A B O U T — FRIENDS: You should know right off the bat, Kit is incredibly socially awkward and typically very shy because of it, as he's made plenty of social blunders. That being said, he doesn't have a lot of friends and actually spends most of his time doing solitary activities such as reading. But! If you'd like to be his friend, you need to be the kind of person who's patient with his awkwardness, not mind him info-dumping on you at random times, and just be a good person. Kit is likely to step in and protect any person he sees being bullied, such as younger years, but this also goes for those of his own year. He's also a great tutor should your student need one. He currently lives in London with his muggle family, so on holidays he mostly only sees his classmates if he goes to Diagon Alley. ENEMIES: First, there's the obvious kind of people who won't like Kit, which are the blood purists and anyone who puts their nose down at anyone who is of anything other than Upper Class. Despite finding out magic was real, the true jarring thing for Kit was finding out that he was seen as less than human by those of old wizard families. He is not the confrontational type at all though and he's more likely to just keep his head down and avoid you. But, I think a fun thing to do would be academic rivals? Kit can be truly an insufferable know-it-all sometimes in class and he is always aiming to learn all that he can. While I think Kit would prefer a healthy, friendly rivalry over grades, it would really be funny if someone absolutely loathed him, and one time he got a slightly better score, but he's still just like 'good job! ' and they're absolutely fuming over it. ROMANCE: Of course, he's nowhere near old enough to be looking for someone to spend the rest of his life with, but he's fifteen now, and even with the staff watching students like a hawk, you can't help that some of them are going to be curious. Kit currently has had a crush on Elisabeth Rose since his third year and they are set to be endgame, but that doesn't mean that other ships can't pop up throughout the years! I also don't mind unrequited plots. Building off of how awkward and the opposite of charming he is when it comes to basic friendship, I feel like he'd be a general nervous wreck in a courting or flirting situation, but also completely oblivious if someone liked him and was trying to charm him.
